Davis was officially placed on IR on Monday, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports.
The team waived Davis on Saturday and subsequently placed him on the IR once he cleared waivers. The veteran tight end started in seven of the Jets' first eight games but failed to record any receptions during that time.
