Melvin (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Melvin will be unable to play Sunday when the Panthers take on the Buccaneers. Playing mostly a depth role in the secondary, Melvin's absence will likely be supplemented by extra work for Keith Taylor and Myles Hartsfield.
