Panthers' Nick Scott: Won't be activated off IR
Scott (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Scott practiced in full Wednesday and Thursday, but he was listed as a DNP in Friday's session due to his hamstring injury and a personal matter. It appears he hasn't progressed enough in his recovery to return for Week 14, and his next opportunity to play will be Week 15 against the Cowboys on Sunday, Dec. 15. Scott will be sidelined for an eighth straight game due to a hamstring injury.

Panthers' Dan Chisena: Elevated for Week 14
The Panthers elevated Chisena from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
It's the third straight game that Chisena has been elevated for, and he'll give the Panthers added depth at wide receiver for Sunday's game against the Eagles as Jalen Coker (quadriceps) is unlikely to play. Chisena caught his lone target for six yards while playing 19 snaps (two on offense, 17 on special teams) in the Panthers' Week 13 overtime loss to the Buccaneers.

Panthers' Jadeveon Clowney: Won't play vs. Eagles
Clowney (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Head coach Dave Canales said Friday that he expected Clowney to play Sunday despite not practicing all week, but the veteran edge rusher will observe to contest from the sidelines. DJ Johnson and Cam Gill are in line to see increased defensive snaps Sunday due to Clowney's injury. Clowney's next opportunity to play will be Week 15 against the Cowboys on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Panthers' Josey Jewell: Iffy to play Week 14
Jewell (hamstring) was a limited participant in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.
Jewell had his DNP on Thursday sandwiched between limited practices as he works through a hamstring injury he likely picked up in Carolina's Week 13 loss to Tampa Bay. His return to practice Friday is a step in the right direction, but his official status for Sunday's game might not be known until the Panthers announce their inactives list approximately 90 minutes before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. If Jewell is unable to play Sunday, Claudin Cherelus would be the top candidate to start at inside linebacker alongside Trevin Wallace.

Panthers' Nick Scott: Questionable for Week 14
Scott (hamstring/personal) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.
Scott opened the week with consecutive full practices, so Friday's absence was more likely due to a personal matter rather than an aggravation of his hamstring injury. Scott has been sidelined for the Panthers' last five games due to his hamstring injury, but it appears he is on track to play in Week 14, though he'll need to be activated off injured reserve first. In the seven games prior to his injury, Scott logged 28 tackles (15 solo) and two pass defenses.

Panthers' Jadeveon Clowney: Expected to play vs. Philadelphia
Clowney (knee) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.
Clowney has been held out of practice all week due to a lingering knee injury, but head coach Dave Canales said Friday that he expects Clowney to play Sunday, per Joe Person of The Athletic. Clowney has registered 2.5 sacks over Carolina's last two games since the Week 11 bye.

Panthers' Jalen Coker: Doubtful for Week 14
Coker (quadriceps) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game at Philadelphia, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.
Coker seemingly had a setback this week, going from full participation Wednesday to limited Thursday and non-participation Friday. He'll likely miss a third straight game, leaving Carolina with poor depth behind WRs Xavier Legette, David Moore and Adam Thielen.

Panthers' Ja'Tavion Sanders: Should play after full practice
Sanders (neck) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Philadelphia after being a full practice participant Friday, Sheena Quick of Fox Sports Radio 1340 reports.
Panthers coach Dave Canales said after Friday's practice that he expects Sanders to play, per Joe Person of The Athletic. The rookie missed Week 13 after taking a hard hit Week 12, pausing a run of strong form in which he'd caught nine of 10 targets for 144 yards and a TD over the span of two and a half games. Sanders has been one of Carolina's more productive pass catchers on a per-route basis this year, but he's only been a full-time starter in the absence of fellow tight end Tommy Tremble, who currently is healthy.

Panthers' Jadeveon Clowney: Misses another practice
Clowney (knee) did not practice Thursday.
Clowney also missed Wednesday's practice due to a combination of rest and a knee issue, but his lack of participation Thursday is credited only to injury. With fellow starting linebacker Josey Jewell (hamstring) having downgraded to a 'DNP' designation Thursday, the Panthers may simply be taking a cautious approach to Clowney's health. In order to have any chance of playing Sunday against Philadelphia, though, Clowney will likely have to upgrade to at least a limited practice session Friday.

Panthers' Josey Jewell: Downgrades to DNP on Thursday
Jewell (hamstring) did not participate in Thursday's practice.
Jewell practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday, so his lack of participation Thursday represents a clear step in the wrong direction. The veteran linebacker was Carolina's leading tackler Week 13 against the Buccaneers and is an integral every-down player for a defensive front that can't spare any more attrition to injury. He'll likely need to practice in at least a limited capacity Friday to have any chance of being available for Sunday's road matchup against the Eagles.

Panthers' Jalen Coker: Falls back to limited Thursday
Coker (quadriceps) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
Coker is vying to put an end to a two-game absence due to a quad injury, but he followed up Wednesday's full session with a cap on his reps one day later, which could be a worrisome sign for his upcoming availability. Ultimately, Friday's practice report will reveal Coker's odds to return to action Sunday at Philadelphia.
