Witt went 2-for-8 with a double, three runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's doubleheader sweep of the Rockies.
Witt's hit streak is now up to 16 games -- he's gone 20-for-58 (.345) with a .938 OPS in that span. The star shortstop has boosted his slash line to .303/.377/.465 with two homers, 10 RBI, 18 runs scored and eight stolen bases through his first 114 plate appearances this year.

Witt went 1-for-3 with two walks and a stolen base in Tuesday's win over the Rockies.
Witt extended his hit streak to 14 games with an infield single in the eighth inning and also stole his seventh bag of the season. Witt has gotten off to a relatively slow start to the season, as he had only one extra-base hit across 29 at-bats entering Saturday's game. While it was a quiet game offensively for the Royals, Witt managed to change his fortunes a bit by slugging his first home run of the campaign in the sixth inning. He's also shown aggressiveness on the basepaths, recording three steals on four attempts.

Royals' Bobby Witt: Returning to lineup
Witt (forearm) will start at shortstop and bat second in Saturday's Cactus League game versus the Guardians.
Witt suffered a bruised left forearm after getting hit by a pitch Wednesday, but the soreness has now subsided, and he's been given the green light to resume playing in exhibition games. With a .276/.364/.586 slash line alongside two home runs, four RBI and five runs scored over 11 contests this spring, the 24-year-old looks poised to have another great season in 2025.

Royals' Bobby Witt: Increases activities Friday
Witt (forearm) increased his baseball activities, including hitting, Friday, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.
Witt was hit by a pitch in the left forearm during Wednesday's game against the Mariners, but he managed to escape with just a bruise and is easing back into workouts. It's not clear when Witt might be ready to play in Cactus League games again, but it shouldn't be long.
