DeLauter went 0-for-4 with a walk in Monday's 9-2 loss to Houston.
DeLauter's was hitless for the fifth time in the last six games and is 1-for-23 during the stretch. The outfielder had a terrific start to the season and was batting .300 as recently as April 12, but this current six-game slump leaves his average at .219. Fantasy managers should expect ups and downs for the rookie, and it's up to DeLauter to smooth out those peaks and valleys.

Guardians' Brayan Rocchio: Extends hit streak
Rocchio went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double and a stolen base in Monday's 9-2 loss to the Astros.
Rocchio extended a hit streak to seven games with a second consecutive game with three knocks. The infielder is 12-for-23 with two doubles, two home runs and eight RBI during the streak. The steal was his first of the season. Rocchio will be the Guardians' primary shortstop until Gabriel Arias (hamstring) returns from an absence that could extend into June.

Guardians' Slade Cecconi: Pummeled by Astros in third loss
Cecconi (0-3) took the loss Monday against the Astros, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 10 hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out two.
Most of the damage to Cecconi was done in the fourth inning, when Houston plated four runs on five hits (one home run). The right-hander was hit around for double-digit knocks for the fourth time in his career, and he also fanned a season-low two. Cecconi has a 6.20 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 20:12 K:BB over 24.2 innings, making him a difficult fantasy option to trust in his next scheduled outing against the Blue Jays.

Guardians' Rhys Hoskins: Drawing fourth straight start
Hoskins will start at designated hitter and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Astros.
Hoskins will stick in the lineup for a fourth straight game, with Cleveland having faced three right-handed starters during that stretch. The 33-year-old had begun to lose out on regular starts after striking out at a 41.4 percent clip over his first eight games, but he's turned in more competitive plate appearances since then, walking nearly as often as he's struck out (5:6 BB:K). Hoskins is still batting just .192 on the season and isn't providing much power either (one home run), making him an underwhelming fantasy option through the first three-plus weeks.

Guardians' Angel Martinez: Playing time trending down
Martinez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.
While Martinez is still holding down a respectable .262 batting average for the season, it's fallen more than 50 points over the past week while he's gone just 2-for-18 at the dish during that time. The Guardians will likely continue to make room for Martinez in the lineup against left-handed pitching, but his playing time versus right-handers has been trending down of late. He'll head to the bench Monday for the third time in the Guardians' last five matchups with righties.

Schneemann is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.
Though he doesn't have a permanent home at any one spot in the diamond or outfield, Schneemann has been used as a near-everyday player of late. He'll hit the bench Monday for just the second time in nine contests, after he saw his seven-game hitting streak end but extended his on-base streak to eight games with an 0-for-2, two-walk effort in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Orioles. For the season, Schneemann is slashing .302/.362/.528 with two home runs, one stolen base, 11 RBI and nine runs over 58 plate appearances.

Guardians' Cooper Ingle: Bops two homers Sunday
Ingle went 3-for-4 with a walk, two home runs, four RBI and an additional run scored for Triple-A Columbus on Sunday.
Ingle is off to an impressive start for the Clippers, slashing .357/.617/.786 with 18 walks, four home runs and 12 RBI over 47 plate appearances. A .400 BABIP has helped, but Ingle is patient hitter that makes contact, knows how to get on base and rarely strikes out. With just 41 career games at Triple-A, he may not be ready for a promotion, but if Bo Naylor's bat continues to underwhelm (.156/.224/.244), Ingle could make his MLB debut at some point in the near future.

Guardians' Juan Brito: Snaps slide
Brito went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Orioles.
Brito contributed a two-run double to the Guardians' four-run fourth inning. The hit snapped an 0-for-13 slide and his first extra-base hit and RBI since April 8. He's getting regular playing time while Gabriel Arias (hamstring) in on the injured list, but a slash line of .184/.244/263 leaves Brito vulnerable. Daniel Schneemann (.890 OPS) lurks on the 26-man roster, and elite prospect Travis Bazzana is heating up -- .414/.485/.759 in last seven games -- at Triple-A Columbus after a slow start. Brito's also made three errors since arriving in Cleveland, which could prompt a move to replace him.

Orioles' Taylor Ward: Blasts first home run
Ward went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 8-4 loss to the Guardians.
Ward provided Baltimore's biggest offensive moment, launching a three-run homer off Joey Cantillo in the fifth inning to get the Orioles on the board. It was his first home run of the season after hitting 36 and 25 in his previous two campaigns. While the balls aren't clearing the fence, Ward has been one of the more productive hitters in the league, leading MLB with 11 doubles while slashing .295/.388/.455 with 11 RBI and 11 runs scored across 103 plate appearances in his first season with Baltimore.

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homers twice Sunday
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Orioles.
Ramirez provided the power surge for Cleveland, taking Trevor Rogers deep twice with a pair of solo shots, including one on the first pitch of the fourth inning. The performance continues a strong stretch at the plate, as he's now homered four times over his last nine games while stealing eight bases and posting a 1.413 OPS in that span. The veteran is also closing in on history, sitting at 291 career homers and 297 stolen bases -- putting him on the verge of becoming just the ninth player in MLB history to reach 300 in both categories.

Guardians' Joey Cantillo: Falls apart after strong opening
Cantillo did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Orioles, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and three walks while striking out six over 4.2 innings.
Cantillo was in control early, holding Baltimore to just two hits through four innings, but unraveled in the fifth. He allowed the first two batters to reach before Taylor Ward launched a three-run homer to left, and additional traffic forced his exit before he could complete the inning. The rough frame was an outlier compared to his strong start to the season, where he fanned 24 across 20.2 innings. Despite the stumble, Cantillo still owns a 3.20 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and a 30:12 K:BB across 25.1 innings and is lined up to face Toronto in his next outing.

Orioles' Trevor Rogers: Hit hard during loss
Rogers (2-2) took the loss Sunday against the Guardians, allowing six runs (five earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings.
Rogers ran into trouble in the middle innings, as four of his six runs came in the fourth, highlighted by a first-pitch homer from Jose Ramirez, who went on to leave the yard again an inning later. The southpaw also contributed to his own issues defensively in the third, missing the bag on a play at first that allowed an unearned run to score later. Sunday marks back-to-back starts in which Rogers has allowed four or more earned runs, a step back after his strong start to the season. The 28-year-old now holds a 4.08 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 25:8 K:BB across 28.2 innings and is scheduled to face Boston in his next outing.
