Carter chipped in 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt), two rebounds, 12 assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Friday's 129-127 win over the Wizards.
Carter's 20 points and 12 assists were his most all season in each respective category. He did his damage across a season-high 37 minutes. The veteran point guard could be in line for another healthy workload in Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Knicks if Chicago is again down several starters.

Carter notched three points (1-5 FG, 1-5 3Pt) and one rebound across six minutes during Tuesday's 128-117 loss to the Knicks.
Carter suited up for just the second time in the past six games, continuing his disappointing season. Last offseason, he was seen as a viable late-round flyer given what the Bulls had invested in him. However, it was quickly apparent that he was not going to be prioritized, culminating with him being ranked well outside the top 350 in nine-category leagues.

Carter and Ayo Dosunmu (21 points) delivered a scoring punch off the bench with the Bulls effectively using an eight-man rotation sans Patrick Williams (ankle). Carter hadn't appeared in Chicago's last two contests, seemingly as DNP-CDs. The 28-year-old is shooting just 36.2 percent from the field and 34.3 percent from deep across 39 appearances for the Bulls this season, but perhaps Saturday's scoring performance will yield momentum.

Carter has been one of Chicago's more reliable scorers among the second unit, dropping at least eight points in nine games so far this season, but his issue has been efficiency (38.8 percent from the field). Carter faced his former team during his first appearance in a Bulls uniform Sunday, and he managed to generate some decent production off the bench. The 28-year-old is a candidate to draw some starts for his new team, but it was Coby White who got the nod with the first unit in the preseason opener. Carter made 81 appearances (39 starts) for the Bucks last year and averaged 8.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 22.3 minutes per game.
