Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Questionable for Saturday
Murray is questionable for Saturday's game against the Wizards due to right hamstring inflammation.
Murray surpassed the 40-minute mark in the loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday, marking just the second time he achieved that this season, but it's unclear if the inflammation is directly tied to the workload he's had of late. Regardless, the questionable tag suggests he could have a decent shot at playing Saturday in what figures to be a favorable matchup on paper. Murray is averaging 18.2 points, 7.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game over his last five outings.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Improving efficiency of late
Murray contributed 18 points (7-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists and one steal over 38 minutes during Sunday's 126-122 loss to the Clippers.
Murray's final stat line wasn't eye-popping by any means, but the star guard is trending in the right direction following a slow start to the 2024-25 campaign. The lack of efficiency has been one of the biggest knocks on his numbers this season, but he's shot 17-for-30 in his last two games, which marks a clear improvement over the recent weeks. Murray scored at least 18 points in four of his past six games.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Solid line in blowout
Murray finished with 22 points (10-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, eight assists and four steals across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 122-103 win over the Jazz.
Murray stayed on the court for 36 minutes despite the lopsided win. Although he made only one shot in six attempts beyond the arc, he made several plays in transition and offset the loss with a good mid-range result. Murray is on a decent five-game run, averaging 19.4 points, 7.4 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.7 steals over the span.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Comes close to double-double
Murray racked up 20 points (6-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 7-9 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 31 minutes during Monday's 145-118 loss to the Knicks.
Even though the Nuggets looked outmatched, Murray had a decent stat line in this blowout loss. Despite being outplayed by Jalen Brunson, who finished with 17 assists, Murray finished just three dimes away from a double-double and also reached the 20-point mark just for the fifth time in 2024-25. The overall season numbers are disappointing, though. Murray has averaged just 17.3 points per game since the beginning of November, a clear downgrade from the previous three campaigns in which he averaged more than 20 points per contest.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Double-double in Friday's loss
Murray amassed 14 points (4-16 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, 11 assists and three blocks over 39 minutes during Friday's 123-120 loss to Dallas.
It's the first double-double of the season for Murray. The veteran point guard has also rejected multiple shots in three straight games, and in six contests since returning from a concussion he's averaging 19.3 points, 7.3 assists, 4.5 boards, 3.0 threes, 1.3 steals and 1.2 blocks.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Fills stat sheet Sunday
Murray closed with 13 points (6-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt), six rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and three steals in 37 minutes during Sunday's 105-90 loss to the Grizzlies.
Murray should've been the one to carry the Nuggets in the absence of Nikola Jokic (personal), but the former continues to shoot the ball poorly and failed to reach the 20-point mark for the sixth time in nine appearances this season. Murray should continue to experience an uptick in his usage rate with Jokic absent, but that won't matter much if the point guard continues to struggle from the field. Murray is shooting just 39.9 percent from the field and 30.2 percent from deep in his nine outings this season.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Stuffs stat sheet in loss
Murray produced 16 points (6-16 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 43 minutes during Friday's 101-94 loss to New Orleans.
Murray struggled with his shot and needed 16 field-goal attempts to score 16 points -- certainly not the kind of output the Nuggets were hoping for with Nikola Jokic (personal) sidelined. Murray has been struggling this season, and aside from missing time with a concussion, the star floor general has struggled with efficiency. Through eight outings in 2024-25, Murray is averaging 17.9 points per game but shooting just 39.8 percent from the floor and 31.9 percent from deep.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Scores 18 points on 17 shots
Murray logged 18 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-5 FT), two rebounds and six assists in 38 minutes during Sunday's 122-120 victory over the Mavericks.
Murray didn't have his best shooting performance in this one, but he continues to post solid numbers since returning from a three-game absence due to a concussion earlier this month. Murray should remain Denver's No. 2 option on offense behind Nikola Jokic and will have every chance in the world to get things going following a less-than-ideal start to the season.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Season-high 28 points in return
Murray (concussion) finished with 28 points (9-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six assists and four rebounds across 35 minutes during Friday's 135-122 win over Miami.
Murray returned to the starting lineup following a three-game absence due to a concussion and looked better than ever. The point guard set season highs in points, made field goals and made three-pointers while dishing out at least six assists for just the second time in 2024-25. Murray shot only 36.5 percent from the field before his absence, so Friday's performance was certainly an encouraging step in the right direction, though it may be a stretch to expect this type of production consistently. Murray averaged 21.2 points and 6.5 assists last season.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Expected to return
Murray (concussion) is expected to play in Friday's game against the Heat, Bennett Durando of The Denver Post reports.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: To remain out Wednesday
Murray (concussion) is out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.
The Nuggets are being extremely cautious with their star point guard, and since Murray remains in concussion protocol, that means Russell Westbrook should draw another start at point guard. Murray might be a few days away from being cleared, so his status should remain uncertain ahead of Friday's game against the Heat.

Nuggets' Jamal Murray: Out again Monday
Murray (concussion) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Raptors.
Murray remains in concussion protocol, so Russell Westbrook should draw another start at point guard. Murray's next chance to suit up will come Wednesday versus Oklahoma City, but head coach Michael Malone said after Saturday's 129-103 win over the Jazz that it may take 5-to-7 days before Murray is cleared to play, per Katy Winge of Altitude Sports. With that in mind, Murray may be closer to doubtful than questionable for Wednesday's contest.

Murray went to the locker room in the third quarter of Friday's game against the Timberwolves after getting poked in the eye, Jace Frederick of St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Murray posted six points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds and a steal in 22 minutes before exiting the contest. If he can't return, Julian Strawther and Russell Westbrook would likely see increased usage.
