  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Nears double-double in win

Allen closed Wednesday's 121-112 win over Miami in Game 2 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with nine points (3-5 FG, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 31 minutes.

Allen put in the work in the frontcourt during Game 2, coming one point and two rebounds shy of a double-double. The Cavaliers now have a commanding 2-0 series lead, as the series shifts to Miami for the next two games.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Double-double in Sunday's win

Allen logged 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals across 30 minutes during Sunday's 121-100 win over the Heat in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

After getting frequent rest down the stretch of the regular season while still suiting up for all 82 games, Allen saw his usual workload to begin the postseason. He made an impact on defense in addition to recording his sixth career playoff double-double. At the same time, Allen's minutes and shot volume were down overall in 2024-25. He made up for it with improved efficiency, shooting a career-high 70.6 percent from the floor.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Handles normal workload in win

Allen totaled 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Friday's 108-102 win over the Knicks.

Although Allen was limited to just 16 minutes in Thursday's narrow loss to Indiana, he was back to handling his normal workload while posting a double-double Friday. It's possible the top-seeded Cavaliers opt to rest several key players in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Pacers, though. Allen has averaged 14.4 points, 8.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals in 26.4 minutes while shooting 77.1 percent from the floor over his last nine games.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Grabs 10 boards in 16 minutes

Allen recorded three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist across 16 minutes in Thursday's 114-112 loss to the Pacers.

Allen was the only usual member of the starting five to suit up for Cleveland, as the Cavaliers are giving him the chance to play in all 82 games during the regular season. The big man didn't return during the second half, though he should be back in action for the second leg of the club's back-to-back set against the Knicks on Friday. However, with Cleveland having already clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, Allen could be subject to light workloads Friday and in the regular-season finale Sunday versus the Pacers.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Doesn't start second half Thursday

Allen (rest) didn't start the second half of Thursday's game against the Pacers, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Allen's goal is to play all 82 regular-season games this year, and he was the only usual starter for the Cavaliers to suit up Thursday. If the big man doesn't check back in, he'll finish with three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and an assist across 16 minutes. Head coach Kenny Atkinson said Thursday that Allen would operate under a limited capacity, per Fedor, which could continue moving forward, as the club has two games remaining after Thursday.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Sits out second half Friday

Allen didn't return to Friday's 114-113 win over the Spurs after halftime due to rest purposes, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Allen started and played 16 minutes in the first half before being shut down for the night and finishing with four points (2-2 FG), four rebounds and three assists. The decision to keep him out for the second half was a planned compromise between the Cavaliers organization and Allen, whose goal is to play in all 82 games this season. He should be back in action for Sunday's game against the Kings, though Allen could have his minutes managed once again.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Top scorer in double-double outing

Allen posted 25 points (11-12 FG, 3-6 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Sunday's 127-122 victory over the Clippers.

Allen led the way for Cleveland in the paint Sunday, pacing all players in scoring and shots made while hauling in a team-high-tying rebound total in a double-double performance. Allen has recorded 25 or more points in five outings, including in two of his last three appearances. He has now posted a double-double in 39 contests this season.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Carries Cleveland to victory

Allen recorded 29 points (10-11 FG, 9-11 FT), 15 rebounds, one block and one steal over 30 minutes during Thursday's 124-116 victory over San Antonio.

Donovan Mitchell turned heads with his 14-assist performance on Thursday, but Allen was the one who carried the team on offense while dominating the glass. This was his first double-double since March 16, but it came when the Cavaliers needed him to step up on both ends of the court. Even if he's no longer the double-double machine he once was, Allen remains a capable two-way presence for the Cavs. He's averaging 15.0 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and a combined 2.3 steals-plus-blocks per game since the start of March.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Top scorer in winning effort

Allen notched 18 points (8-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-5 FT), six rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 26 minutes during Sunday's 120-91 victory over the Jazz.

Allen paced Cleveland offensively in Sunday's contest, recording a team-high scoring total in a balanced performance that also featured a strong defensive showing. Allen has tallied 18 or more points in 15 outings this season, doing so for the second time in five contests.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Posts another double-double

Allen totaled 20 points (8-11 FG, 4-6 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and one block over 32 minutes during Sunday's 108-103 loss to the Magic.

Allen barely missed any shots from the field and posted a double-double for the fifth time across eight appearances this month. The big man is averaging 15.6 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.9 steals-plus-blocks in that span. He continues to be one of the most reliable two-way big men across all formats.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Tallies another 20-10 double-double

Allen finished Tuesday's 109-104 victory over the Nets with 23 points (7-12 FG, 9-11 FT), 13 rebounds, one assist and three blocks across 34 minutes.

Allen owned the paint in Tuesday's contest, leading all Cavaliers in rebounds and blocks while finishing as one of three players with 20 or more points in a well-rounded double-double. Allen has surpassed the 20-point mark in 11 contests, adding 10 or more boards in 10 of those outings.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Amasses five steals Friday

Allen produced 14 points (4-10 FG, 6-6 FT), 11 rebounds, one block and five steals over 32 minutes during Friday's 118-117 victory over the Hornets.

Allen was a pest on the defensive end, tallying a season-high five steals. Better known for his shot-blocking, Allen surprised many with his efforts, especially given he had recorded no more than three steals in any one game thus far this season. The Cavaliers have now won 13 consecutive games, with Allen continuing to be a key figure up front.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Big double-double in Tuesday's win

Allen finished Tuesday's 139-117 victory over the Bulls with 25 points (10-11 FG, 5-5 FT), 17 rebounds, three assists and two steals in 30 minutes.

The double-double was his 34th of the season, while the 25 points represented his best scoring effort since Jan. 8. The 26-year-old center's elevated production came with Evan Mobley (rest) in street clothes for the first game of a back-to-back, so Allen is likely to fall back to his usual level Wednesday against the Heat. Over 13 appearances since the beginning of February, Allen has averaged 13.1 points, 11.2 boards, 2.2 assists, 0.9 blocks and 0.8 steals while shooting 74.0 percent from the floor.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Leading rebounder in double-double

Allen contributed 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal in 26 minutes during Sunday's 133-129 overtime win over Portland.

Allen led the way for Cleveland in the paint Sunday, pacing all players in rebounds and blocks en route to a double-double performance. Allen has recorded a double-double in 33 outings, doing so in two of his last four contests.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Will play Sunday

Allen (finger) is available for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies, Spencer Davies of SI.com reports.

X-rays came back negative for Allen's finger, which he injured during Friday's win over the Knicks, and the injury doesn't appear to be serious enough for him to miss any time. Allen has averaged 12.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 blocks over 26.5 minutes per game since the beginning of February.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Uncertain to play Sunday

Allen is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies due to a right index finger sprain, Evan Dammarell of DownEuclid.com reports.

Allen suffered the injury in Friday's 142-105 win over the Knicks, resulting in him being ruled out for the game early. X-rays didn't reveal any structural damage to his index finger, but he has yet to be given the green light to play Sunday. Evan Mobley would likely draw the start at center if Allen can't play, while Dean Wade and De'Andre Hunter could both be in line to see added minutes in the frontcourt.

  • Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Exits early with hand injury

Allen suffered a right hand injury during Friday's game against the Knicks and won't return, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Allen initially injured his hand at some point during the first half. After X-rays on his hand came back negative, Allen was on the court to begin the third quarter, but he played just four minutes before the Cavaliers ruled him out for the rest of the contest. He'll finish the game with 10 points (5-6 FG) and three rebounds over 20 minutes of court time. The veteran center will presumably be re-evaluated Saturday before the Cavaliers make a call on his availability for Sunday's game versus the Grizzlies.
