Bucks' Myles Turner: Drops 19 in loss to Sixers
Turner registered 19 points (4-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 8-12 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one block in 23 minutes during Friday's 116-101 loss to the 76ers.
The long-time Pacer has made a relatively smooth transition to the Bucks this season, filling Brook Lopez's old role as a stretch big. Turner's rebounding numbers have taken a hit as a result -- he hasn't pulled down more than three boards in five straight games -- but he's averaging 2.0 threes and 1.4 blocks over that stretch to maintain some fantasy utility. On the season, his 5.9 rebounds per game would be his lowest mark since he was a rookie in 2015-16, but his 2.3 threes per game would be a career high.

Bucks' Bobby Portis: Ties season scoring high Friday
Portis racked up 22 points (9-16 FG, 4-9 3Pt), four rebounds and one steal in 23 minutes off the bench during Friday's 116-101 loss to the 76ers.
The 22 points led the Bucks on the night, and Portis tied his season scoring high with the performance, matching the 22 points he dropped against the Trail Blazers on Nov. 24. Bucks' AJ Green: Scheduled for an MRI
Green is scheduled to undergo an MRI when the Bucks arrive in Detroit on Saturday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
The sharpshooter was forced out of Friday's game with what the team is currently calling a shoulder contusion, but we'll have an official diagnosis once he undergoes an MRI. If Green can't play Saturday, Kyle Kuzma, Gary Trent and Gary Harris would have the opportunity for some extended minutes.

Bucks' Kevin Porter: Stuffs stat sheet in defeat
Porter posted 20 points (5-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 9-9 FT), nine assists, seven rebounds and two steals in 37 minutes during Friday's 116-101 loss to the 76ers.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) sidelined, Porter took on increased playmaking duties and dished out a game- and season-high nine assists. While the 25-year-old point guard didn't deliver his most efficient performance from the field, he was perfect from the charity stripe and logged his third straight game with 20-plus points. In four outings following a 19-game absence due to meniscus and ankle injuries, Porter has averaged 22.3 points, 6.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals in 32.0 minutes per contest. The Bucks will need him to continue his strong play as they look to stay afloat with Antetokounmpo expected to miss an extended period.

Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Won't be rushed to return
Head coach Doc Rivers said the Bucks won't rush Antetokounmpo back to the court, and he expects him to need closer to four weeks to recover from his strained right calf, Jamal Collier of ESPN reports.
Antetokounmpo was initially given a loose timetable of two-to-four weeks, but it sounds like it'll be closer to the four-week mark. "I feel like we should learn is with calves -- make sure they're healthy," Rivers said before Friday's game against the Sixers. "So that may take longer than we want. That even may make Giannis frustrated over it, but we just got to try to get that right." The good news is that due to the NBA Cup, the Bucks have only seven games over the next three weeks. Jericho Sims, Kyle Kuzma and Bobby Portis are candidates for increased minutes with Antetokounmpo sidelined.

Kuzma notched four points (2-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal across 21 minutes during Wednesday's 113-109 victory over the Pistons.
Kuzma has not transitioned well to the bench from a production standpoint, averaging just 9.5 points (inflated by a 20-point outlier Nov. 28), 2.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in his last four games after averaging 12.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists in his previous eight starts. However, with Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) slated to miss the next several weeks, Kuzma could find himself back in the starting lineup, where his fantasy value instantly becomes more appealing.

Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Out 2-4 weeks
Antetokounmpo (calf) is expected to be sidelined for two-to-four weeks, ESPN's Shams Charania reports Thursday.
An MRI taken Wednesday night confirmed a right calf strain for Milwaukee's franchise player. The Bucks have ruled out any concerns with Antetokounmpo's Achilles, so the franchise will be able to breathe a bit following this news. If Antetokounmpo is able to return at the front end of this timetable, he would miss at least five games. However, it's likely that the team proceeds with extreme caution, given the nature of this injury and his murky future with the team. In the meantime, guys like Kyle Kuzma, Bobby Portis and Jericho Sims will have an opportunity to step up.

Sims finished with 15 points (7-7 FG, 1-1 FT), 14 rebounds and one assist over 30 minutes off the bench during Wednesday's 113-109 win over the Pistons.
The 30 minutes were a season high for Sims, as he took on a much larger role than usual after Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) exited the game after just three minutes, and the fifth-year center responded by setting a new career scoring high and tying his personal best in boards. The double-double was his first of the season and first since 2022-23 with the Knicks, but Sims should see his workload increase at least a little for however long Giannis is missing from the Bucks' frontcourt.

The fourth-year wing continues to thrive from long distance. Green has drained at least four three-pointers in five straight games and eight of the last 10, averaging 13.4 points, 4.2 treys, 3.6 boards, 2.5 assists and 0.8 steals in 32.3 minutes during the latter stretch while shooting 51.2 percent from the floor and 52.5 percent from beyond the arc. With Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) exiting Wednesday's game early and likely facing some kind of absence, Green's secondary scoring will become even more important for the Bucks.
