Warriors' Will Richard: Scores 16 in SL debut
Richard posted 16 points (3-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 8-8 FT), four rebounds, two steals and one assist in 25 minutes during Sunday's 90-88 Summer League loss to the Spurs.
Richard made his Warriors debut Sunday and put together a solid performance despite struggling from the floor. Much of his work was done from the free-throw line, where he made all eight of his attempts. Aside from his offensive production, Richard showed flashes of defensive ability, locking up on the perimeter and registering two steals.

Warriors' Will Richard: Will suit up Sunday
Richard (personal) will play in Sunday's Summer League game against the Spurs, Danny Emerman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Richard missed the team's Summer League opener Saturday because Golden State's draft-day trades had not been made final. However, since they are now official, the rookie 56th overall pick will make his Warriors debut.

Warriors' Will Richard: Unavailable Saturday
Richard (trade pending) won't play in Saturday's Summer League game against the Lakers, Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Along with Alex Toohey, Richard can't debut Saturday because Golden State's draft day trades haven't been made official just yet. Both players could potentially suit up Sunday against Miami.

Warriors' Will Richard: Lands with Golden State
Richard was selected by the Warriors with the No. 56 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Richard played a key role in the Gators' championship run, which included adding 18 points in the National Championship game against Houston. The 6-4 guard is an impressive shooter, averaging 2.0 made triples per matchup over 40 appearances with Florida during the 2024-25 season. Richard is also a strong defender, averaging 1.7 steals in his final collegiate season. The Warriors expect the 22-year-old guard to immediately compete for a roster spot, per Tony Jones of The Athletic.
