Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Sent to G League
The Grizzlies assigned Jackson to the G League's Memphis Hustle on Monday.
After playing 26 minutes in a starting role March 10 against the Suns, Jackson has seen his playing time drop in each of the Grizzlies' ensuing three games. The second-year forward logged just eight minutes in Saturday's blowout win over the Heat, and his assignment to the G League likely signals that he would have been at risk of falling out of the rotation had he stuck around with the Grizzlies for Monday's contest in Sacramento. Jackson will presumably stick around with the Hustle through their contest Wednesday versus the Valley Suns, though it's uncertain how much longer beyond that he'll stay in the G League.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Back to bench Friday
Jackson is not in the Grizzlies' starting lineup against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Jackson has started in each of the Grizzlies' last two games and has averaged 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals over 21.5 minutes over that span. He'll go back to a reserve role Friday due to the return of Jaren Jackson (ankle).

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Solid all-around performance
Jackson amassed 14 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 26 minutes during Monday's 120-118 win over the Suns.
Jackson made an impact on both ends of the floor during Monday's win against the Suns. The 19-year-old made an impression in his first start of the season, scoring 14 or more points for the fifth time this season while snatching two more steals for the second time during the 2024-25 campaign.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Starting Monday
Jackson has been elevated to the starting lineup for Monday's contest against Phoenix.
Jackson is starting in place of Jaren Jackson, who is dealing with an ankle injury. On the season, Jackson is averaging 7.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.2 blocks over 16.3 minutes.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Good to go Saturday
Jackson (eye) isn't on the injury report for Saturday's game versus the Spurs.
Jackson will return to action Saturday after missing Memphis' previous contest due to left corneal inflammation. Jackson is averaging 9.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 16.7 minutes across his last 10 outings.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Ruled out Friday
Jackson (eye) is out for Friday's game against the Knicks.
Jackson was a late addition to Friday's injury report due to left corneal inflammation, and the injury will prevent the second-year forward from suiting up in this game. Jackson is averaging 8.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per game this season. His next chance to play will come against the Spurs on Saturday in the second leg of a back-to-back set.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Questionable to face New York
Jackson is questionable for Friday's game against the Knicks due to left corneal inflammation.
A decision on Jackson's availability will be made closer to Friday's 8 p.m. ET tipoff, although he shouldn't affect many fantasy decisions. The second-year forward has been limited to just 16 appearances this season, averaging 8.7 points and 3.2 rebounds across 16.3 minutes per contest.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Solid total from bench in loss
Jackson ended with 15 points (6-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-3 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes during Wednesday's 128-114 loss to the Clippers.
Jackson came in handy off the bench with Ja Morant taking a seat in the back-to-back. While Scotty Pippen and Luke Kennard have been Morant's direct replacements in recent weeks, the South Carolina product rotated in for some backcourt work as Desmond Bane's backup during the loss. Although Jackson pops for big numbers on occasion, he's not consistent enough to warrant serious fantasy consideration.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Plays just 13 minutes
Jackson closed Tuesday's 119-112 win over the Suns with three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one assist across 13 minutes.
Memphis has a very deep rotation right now, making it hard for a player like Jackson to churn out consistent fantasy value. He should be considered a boom-or-bust streamer in deeper formats with averages of 9.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 17.4 minutes across 11 regular-season outings.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Drops season-high 27 points
Jackson amassed 27 points (11-20 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three steals in 28 minutes during Monday's 128-109 win over San Antonio.
Jackson eclipsed his previous season-high mark, scoring 27 points while draining four triples. Following a breakout 2023-24 season, Jackson has only recently returned from an injury that cost him basically the first three months of the season. While this was certainly an encouraging performance, the Grizzlies are decidedly deeper than they were last season. Jackson's path to minutes is therefore much more complicated than last year.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Sees 17 minutes off bench
Jackson supplied eight points (2-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal over 17 minutes during Monday's 143-106 loss to the Knicks.
Jackson is still finding his stride after a lengthy stint on the sidelines. Memphis' rotation isn't exactly easy to break through with coach Taylor Jenkins utilizing so many players on any given night, making Jackson just a player to monitor in deeper formats for now. In his opening five games, he's shooting 35.9 percent from the field and 25.0 percent from beyond the arc, so he's likely to have some positive regression with his shot soon.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Scores four points
Jackson produced four points (2-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt) and one rebound across 11 minutes during Monday's 108-106 win over Minnesota.
This was Jackson's debut after the wing was sidelined for nearly three months to begin the season while completing his recovery from the surgery he underwent Sept. 4 to repair his fractured foot. Coach Taylor Jenkins mentioned that Jackson will be brought along slowly as he regains his conditioning, but minutes will be tough to come by in Memphis' crowded wing rotation, which makes him just a player to monitor in deeper formats for now.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Recalled to NBA
The Grizzlies recalled Jackson from the G League's Memphis Hustle on Sunday.
Jackson debuted for the Hustle on Wednesday, finishing with 18 points (5-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block. He's still knocking off the rust and will need to get his conditioning up, but he could back in the rotation for the Grizzlies sooner rather than later.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Debuts in G League
Jackson (foot) played 27 minutes Wednesday in the G League Memphis Hustle's 132-128 overtime loss to the Rip City Remix, finishing with 18 points (5-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block.
Jackson took the court for the first time during the 2024-25 campaign, after he had been sidelined for nearly three months to begin the season while completing his recovery from the surgery he underwent Sept. 4 to repair his fractured foot. Though he saw a sizable minutes load in his first game action since the Las Vegas Summer League, Jackson could stick around in the G League to make a few more appearances before rejoining the Grizzlies. The second-year forward averaged 14.6 points in 25.7 minutes per game over his 48 appearances for the Grizzlies as a rookie. Still, with the team in much better health this season than last, Jackson may be in store for only a minor role in the rotation once he rejoins the parent club.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: Will play rehab game in G League
The Grizzlies assigned Jackson (foot) to the G League's Memphis Hustle on Tuesday.
Jackson has yet to play this season while recovering from right foot surgery, but head coach Taylor Jenkins said Monday that the second-year forward has reached the reconditioning phase of his rehab. According to Jon Roser of the Grizzlies Radio Network, Jackson is scheduled to play for the Hustle in Wednesday's game against the Rip City Remix, though he could be operating under a minute restriction. Jackson will likely appear in multiple games for the Hustle before rejoining the Grizzlies.

Grizzlies' GG Jackson: In reconditioning phase of rehab
Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins said Monday that Jackson has "pretty much checked off everything" in his recovery from the surgery he underwent in September to address a right foot fracture and will merely need to get reconditioned before making his season debut, Rob Fischer of FanDuel Sports Network Southeast reports.
Jenkins suggested that the 20-year-old forward's initial exposure to games may come with the G League's Memphis Hustle rather than the parent club, but Jackson will presumably need to put in at least a few more practices before getting the green light for competitive action. As a rookie second-round pick last season, Jackson showed a knack for scoring with an average of 14.6 points and 2.1 three-pointers in 25.7 minutes per game over his 48 appearances, but he benefited greatly from the Grizzlies being decimated by injuries. Memphis currently has two other key players (Marcus Smart and Vince Williams) out with injuries but has still enjoyed better health overall in 2024-25 compared to last season, so Jackson might have to settle for a small role in the rotation once he's up to full speed and cleared to suit up for the parent club.
