Pacers' Jarace Walker: Leads Indiana's bench in loss
Walker notched 11 points (4-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block over 18 minutes during Tuesday's 127-117 loss to the Cavaliers.
Walker led the Pacers' bench in scoring, but he couldn't find his rhythm from beyond the arc in the loss. Despite struggles from three-point range Tuesday, the 21-year-old is still on pace to shoot 40.2 percent from downtown on 2.6 attempts per contest. The second-year pro has received fairly inconsistent playing time this season, though he has provided a valuable spark off the bench, averaging career-high numbers across the board.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Career-best night on glass
Walker finished with eight points (3-5 FG, 2-3 3Pt), 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 22 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 108-93 win over Cleveland.
The dozen boards were a career high for the second-year forward, and Walker had never even posted double digits in the category prior to Sunday. While his court time and usage from the Pacers' second unit remain erratic -- this was the first time since Dec. 29 that he saw 20-plus minutes -- Walker's play appears to be on an upswing. Over the last 10 games, he's shooting 53.2 percent from the floor and 51.9 percent (14-for-27) from beyond the arc while averaging 9.3 points, 3.2 boards, 1.4 assists, 1.4 threes and 1.0 steals in just 17.0 minutes a contest.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Scores in double digits off bench
Walker logged 12 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), three assists, two boards, one steal and one block in 19 minutes of play during Wednesday's 129-113 win over the Bulls.
Walker has been in good form of late, having scored in double digits in six of his last eight games, despite reaching that mark just five times over the first 30 contests of the season. He doesn't contribute much outside of his scoring though, so while Pascal Siakam, Bennedict Mathurin and Obi Toppin remain ahead of him in the depth chart, it'll be difficult for Walker to provide consistent fantasy output. His next outing comes Friday against the Warriors.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Scores in double figures
Walker finished Tuesday's 120-112 loss to the Bucks with 11 points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, one assist, one block and three steals across 16 minutes.
For the first time in his career, Walker has scored in double figures in four straight games. During that stretch, Walker has averaged 12.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 21.1 minutes. He clearly has upside, but the minutes aren't where his fantasy managers would like for them to be.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Hands out season-high five assists
Walker finished Friday's 142-105 loss to the Celtics with 15 points (5-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five assists and two steals over 28 minutes.
Walker's 15 points and season-high five assists offered the Pacers a lift off the bench in Friday's blowout defeat, with the former figure falling just two points short of the forward's season-high 17 points that were posted back during a Nov. 6 win over Orlando. Walker has seen minutes in the 20s in only seven of his last 13 appearances, a period in which he's averaging 7.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in 19.0 minutes. The 21-year-old former No. 8 overall pick has yet to carve out a consistent role off Indiana's bench during his second season, but Walker does present a short-term boost in fantasy value while Obi Toppin's (ankle) status remains up in the air for Sunday's meeting with Boston.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Nearly double-doubles
Walker finished Sunday's 119-104 win over New Orleans with eight points (3-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt), nine rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes.
Performances like these have been too few and far between for Walker. Through seven December outings, he's averaging just 6.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 three-pointers in 20.6 minutes per contest.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Productive off bench
Walker ended with 15 points (6-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt), three rebounds and one block over 20 minutes during Sunday's 113-109 loss to the Hornets.
This was Walker's third career game with at least 15 points, as he finished two points shy of his career-best mark of 17. Strong fantasy lines have been few and far between, however, as Walker scored a combined eight points in his previous three outings. He's not a viable fantasy option outside of deep formats for the time being.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Plays well off bench
Walker racked up nine points (2-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, one block and two steals across 25 minutes during Sunday's 136-121 loss to the Grizzlies.
Despite the loss, the Pacers got some quality production from their second unit with Walker and Obi Toppin playing well. Walker has now put together positive back-to-back outings, averaging 9.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 3.5 steals and 1.5 three-pointers in those two games.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Showcases quick hands
Walker provided 10 points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists and five steals across 31 minutes during Friday's 130-106 loss to Detroit.
Walker was one of two Pacer bench players to score in double figures, but his largest contribution took place on the defensive end. He accounted for five of his team's nine steals after failing to record a steal in his previous two games entering the day. This was a solid all-around showing for the Houston product, who was averaging 4.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists over his last seven games prior to Friday's outburst.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Non-factor in win Wednesday
Walker posted two points (1-1 FG, 0-1 FT) across 10 minutes during Wednesday's 121-114 win over Portland.
Walker failed to score in just 10 minutes, continuing his recent poor play. After moving into the starting lineup almost two weeks ago, Walker's role has regressed over the past four games. In that time, he has averaged 3.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 18.0 minutes per game. At this point, it appears the Pacers are comfortable getting the ball out of his hands.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Will play Friday
Walker (illness) is available for Friday's game against the Bucks, Tony East of SI.com reports.
The 21-year-old forward will suit up with Andrew Nembhard (knee), Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Ben Sheppard (oblique) ruled out. In his last five appearances (one start), Walker has averaged 6.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.8 steals across 21.8 minutes per game.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Iffy for Friday
Walker is questionable for Friday's game against the Bucks due to an illness.
The Pacers are depleted in terms of their wing depth, and the potential absence of Walker doesn't help the team's cause. Andrew Nembhard (knee) and Aaron Nesmith (ankle) are out, while Ben Sheppard (oblique) is questionable as well. Quenton Jackson would be in line to start if both Walker and Sheppard are sidelined.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Slides back to bench
Walker won't start Wednesday's game against the Rockets, Lachard Binkley of TheDreamShake.com reports.
Walker is available off the bench for Wednesday's tilt, moving out of the first unit after making his first career start Monday at Toronto. He logged six points, four rebounds two assists and a steal across 25 minutes during the start. Quenton Jackson takes Walker's place in the first unit.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Cleared for Wednesday
Walker (illness) is good to go Wednesday versus Houston, Jeremiah Johnson of Bally Sports Indiana reports.
Walker has had ample opportunities to step up with the Pacers dealing with a myriad of injuries to start the season, and that trend continues Wednesday with Ben Sheppard (oblique) unavailable for his second consecutive contest. Walker continues to build his confidence, but the second-year forward is connecting on 44.1 percent of 2.4 threes per game across his 14 appearances this year.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Iffy for Wednesday
Walker (illness) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Walker was a late addition to a growing injury report in Indiana. The forward just made his first career start Monday against the Raptors, finishing with six points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal. If Walker is unable to play, Obi Toppin could potentially see a massive workload.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Gets first career start Monday
Walker will enter the starting lineup in Monday's game against the Raptors, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.
With Ben Sheppard (oblique) out, Bennedict Mathurin will move to the two-guard and Walker will pick up his first career start. The 21-year-old has been solid off the bench in November, during which he has averaged 7.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals across 19.9 minutes per game in eight outings.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Productive off bench
Walker finished Sunday's 119-110 victory over the Heat with six points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 16 minutes.
Despite a limited workload, Walker was able to produce a solid stat line apart from his shooting. He's been much more involved in November for the Pacers, averaging 20.0 minutes through eight contests with 7.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals. With Ben Sheppard (oblique) expected to join Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Andrew Nembhard (knee) on the multi-week injury list, Walker has a clear path to increased usage.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Best outing of season off bench
Walker chipped in 17 points (7-7 FG, 3-3 3Pt), six rebounds, one block and two steals over 23 minutes during Wednesday's 118-111 victory over the Magic.
Walker provided a big spark off Indiana's bench in a winning effort, putting forth his best outing of the young season while leading all bench players in Wednesday's contest in scoring and rebounds. Walker set season-high marks in both scoring and rebounds, and he has reached double figures in scoring in two outings this year. Walker has hauled in at least five boards in two straight contests off the bench.

Pacers' Jarace Walker: Sinks three in win
Walker put up three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists over 14 minutes in Monday's 134-127 win over the Mavericks.
Even though Walker did not have his best offensive output Monday night, his time on the court has been trending upwards, largely due to the absence of Aaron Nesmith (ankle). Walker will continue to back up Pascal Siakam, but if the 2023 first-round pick can perform well while Nesmith is out, he may be able to carve out a spot for himself in the rotation moving forward.
