Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Quiet in series-clinching victory
Reid contributed eight points (3-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes during Wednesday's 121-110 victory over the Warriors in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Reid was limited in the victory, scoring single digits for the third straight game. It's been a postseason full of ups and downs for Reid, with his role typically dictated by the individual matchup, as well as the play of Rudy Gobert. In fact, Reid has scored more than 15 points only twice during the playoffs, while tallying fewer than 10 points on five occasions. Minnesota now moves on to the Conference Finals for the second straight season, where it will face either Oklahoma City or Denver.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Quiet in Game 4 win
Reid recorded five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one block and three steals over 24 minutes during Monday's 117-110 victory over the Warriors in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Despite a 3-1 series lead for Minnesota, Reid has yet to find much of a rhythm against the Warriors outside of a productive Game 1. Reid is averaging 11.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.5 three-pointers on 53.1 percent from the field in 28.3 minutes per contest.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Loaded stat line off bench
Reid posted 19 points (8-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 99-88 loss to the Warriors in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
Reid was one of the standout players for the Timberwolves. In a game where the frontcourt struggled badly, the big man stepped up and made his presence felt on both ends of the court. Even though he had to leave the game in the latter stages of the second quarter due to an apparent hamstring problem, he didn't show any effects in the second half and should be ready to continue playing his sizable role off the bench going forward.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Exits with hamstring injury
Reid exited Tuesday's game against the Warriors with an apparent hamstring injury, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Reid left the game in the latter stages of the second quarter, and it's uncertain whether he'll be able to return. The big man was grabbing at his left hamstring when heading toward the bench in noticeable pain. If he's unable to return, then the Timberwolves would lose a valuable member of their frontcourt.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Available to return Tuesday
Reid (hamstring) is available to return in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Warriors on Tuesday, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Reid sustained an apparent left hamstring injury during the second quarter and exited to the locker room. However, the big man went through his halftime warmup and should be able to shoulder his usual workload the rest of the way.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Scores 12 points in win
Reid contributed 12 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 20 minutes during Sunday's 116-113 victory over the Lakers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Rudy Gobert hasn't been much of a factor in this series, but Reid has had plenty of success despite some foul trouble in his previous two games. Overall, Reid averages 13.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists on 55.9 percent shooting from the field and 52.4 percent from beyond the arc through four games.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Held in check
Reid chipped in nine points (3-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and three steals over 21 minutes during Tuesday's 94-85 loss to the Lakers in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Reid had 23 points (8-12 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 31 minutes during Saturday's 117-95 win over the Lakers in Game 1, but never really found his rhythm in Game 2 as he got into early foul trouble. With the series tied at one win apiece, Game 3 is set for Friday in Minnesota.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Plays key role in Game 1 victory
Reid totaled 23 points (8-12 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 31 minutes during Saturday's 117-95 win over the Lakers in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Reid soaked up the majority of the center minutes, contributing at least 20 points for the first time in the past nine games. The Lakers opted to run with Dorian Finney-Smith as their primary center, a matchup that better suited Reid. Jaxson Hayes will likely continue to start for the Lakers but his lack of upside could result in both he and Rudy Gobert playing limited minutes. Reid is a proven commodity when it comes to stepping into a larger role, meaning he should see meaningful minutes for the remainder of the series.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Receives one-game suspension
The NBA announced Tuesday that Reid has been issued a one-game suspension for his role in an on-court altercation that occurred in the second quarter of Sunday's 123-104 win over the Pistons.
Along with Reid, teammate Donte DiVincenzo will serve a one-game ban in Tuesday's game against the Nuggets, while the NBA suspended Detroit's Isaiah Stewart for two games and Ron Holland and Marcus Sasser for one game. While Reid is sidelined Tuesday, Luka Garza could enter the rotation as starting center Rudy Gobert's top backup, and starting power forward Julius Randle could also have a higher minutes floor.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Ejected from Sunday's game
Reid was ejected in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Pistons, Jace Frederick of St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Reid was one of five players ejected from Sunday's game that stemmed from a brawl that started when he took exception to being fouled by Ron Holland on a drive to the basket. After the dust settled, Reid and Holland were joined by Isaiah Stewart, Marcus Sasser and Donte DiVincenzo in being removed for the rest of Sunday's contest. Reid will end the night with two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over 10 minutes.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Leads from bench in 20-point outing
Reid posted 20 points (8-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 26 minutes in Monday's 119-103 loss to Indiana.
Reid stepped up off the Timberwolves bench Monday like he has all season long, leading all players in scoring and threes made en route to a 20-point showcase in just 26 minutes. Reid has recorded at least 20 points in 19 outings this season, including in two of his last four contests. He has connected on three or more threes in three of his last four appearances.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Pops for 20 off bench
Reid racked up 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks over 27 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 141-124 win over the Spurs.
With Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle in the starting lineup together for the first time since Jan. 30, Reid shifted back to the second unit but stayed productive and saw a hefty workload. The 25-year-old big averaged 26.9 minutes a contest in January prior to moving into the starting five, averaging 16.4 points, 5.4 boards, 3.0 threes, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks that month, and that's a reasonable expectation for Reid's production once Gobert gets his legs back under him.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Shifting to bench Sunday
Reid is not in the Timberwolves' starting lineup against the Spurs on Sunday.
Reid has been in the Timberwolves' starting lineup since Feb. 1 due to injuries to Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert (back). Reid will come off the bench Sunday with Gobert and Randle both available, but Reid has averaged 25.5 minutes per game as a reserve this season and should still bring plenty of fantasy value.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Stuffs stat sheet Friday
Reid racked up 15 points (6-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 34 minutes during Friday's 106-104 victory over Miami.
Reid has been doing an excellent job since being promoted to the starting lineup, first to replace Julius Randle and now stepping up in place of Rudy Gobert (back). The big man has surpassed the 20-point mark in seven of his last 11 outings, averaging 18.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 blocks per contest over that stretch. There's uncertainty regarding when Gobert might return to the floor, so expect Reid to remain in a starting role until the Frenchman is ready to return.

Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Hits for team-high 23 in win
Reid accumulated 23 points (9-18 FG, 5-10 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 126-112 victory over the 76ers.
The 25-year-old led the Timberwolves in scoring as he made his 15th straight start while Rudy Gobert (back) remains sidelined. Reid has been very productive while in the starting five, scoring more than 20 points in 10 of those contests and delivering seven double-doubles while averaging 18.9 points, 9.3 boards, 3.3 assists, 2.8 threes, 1.3 blocks and 0.8 steals.
