Buffalo Bills T Erik Pears (hip) missed another day of practice on Friday and is doubtful for Sunday’s game against Houston.

Pears has been struggling with a groin/hip injury all season long and saw a specialist Thursday. Coach Chan Gailey said Pears had some work done on Thursday and the team will wait to see how he reacts before deciding if he needs any further procedures. If Pears is unable to play, second-year pro Chris Hairston will start in his place.

CB Terrence McGee is also listed as doubtful. McGee was limited in practice again on Friday and continues to have trouble with his lingering knee injury.

LT Cordy Glenn (high ankle sprain) is probable and set to make his first start since Week 4.

The Bills have yet to make it official, but rookie CB Ron Brooks (foot) is set to be placed on the active roster. Brooks has been on IR since early September but is eligible to return as part of the NFL’s new IR rule. G Chad Rinehart (ankle) will be placed on injured reserve to make room for Brooks.
