The Redskins added defensive back Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith as a free agent Saturday, after waiving Peyton Thompson . Per the team's official release, details of the deal have not been announced.
Cromartie-Smith spent the 2013 season with the Steelers, appearing in four games and recording one tackle.
