Pharaoh Brown: Gets opportunity with Arizona
The Cardinals signed Brown to the practice squad Wednesday.
The 31-year-old tight end failed to make the Dolphins' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he'll get another opportunity to see regular-season action as a member of the Cardinals' practice squad. Arizona placed Travis Vokolek on injured reserve Wednesday due to a season-ending neck injury, and with Tip Reiman (ankle) also on IR, Brown would be a candidate to be elevated to the Cardinals' active roster should the team require depth at tight end. Trey McBride, Elijah Higgins and Walter Nolen are the three tight ends currently on the Cardinals' active roster.

Pharaoh Brown: Dumped by Miami
The Dolphins released Brown on Monday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
The 31-year-old veteran tight end signed with Miami back in March but didn't show enough this summer to land a 53-man roster spot. Brown appeared in 15 regular-season games with Seattle last season, making seven starts, and finished with eight catches for 65 yards. He's mainly a blocker.

Dolphins' Pharaoh Brown: Lands in Miami
The Dolphins signed Brown to a contract Friday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Brown is an experienced veteran tight end with proven capabilities as a rotational blocker. He handled such a role across 15 regular-season appearances with the Seahawks in 2024, averaging 16.3 offensive snaps per game while drawing only 12 total targets. That skillset fills an area of need for Miami, with Durham Smythe having departed for Chicago in free agency.

Seahawks' Pharaoh Brown: Single-digit catches in 2024
Brown recorded eight catches (on 12 targets) for 65 yards over 15 games with the Seahawks in 2024.
Brown averaged 16.3 offensive snaps per game, finishing behind both Noah Fant and rookie fourth-round pick AJ Barner. The 30-year-old tight end will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so he may end up on his fifth team in four years.

Seahawks' Pharaoh Brown: Two catches in win
Brown caught both of his targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 16-6 win over the Cardinals.
Brown served as the No. 2 tight end behind AJ Barner because Noah Fant (groin) was inactive. This was Brown's best game of the season, but with Fant seemingly on track for Week 13 versus the Jets, Brown will have little fantasy value going forward.
