Seahawks' Josh Jobe: Goes on IR ahead of season finale
Jobe (knee) was placed on the Seahawks' injured reserve list Saturday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Jobe injured his knee last Thursday against the Rams and didn't practice at all this week. He was ruled out for Sunday's matchup Friday, and with Seattle out of playoff contention, his season is now over. Jobe will be a restricted free agent at the close of the current campaign.

Seahawks' Josh Jobe: Out for Week 18 finale
Jobe (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Rams, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Jobe had started each of the Seahawks' last four games at outside cornerback opposite Riq Woolen, but Jobe's 2024 campaign is now over. He finishes the season with 37 tackles (29 solo) and seven pass breakups, including one interception. Tre Brown should see extra cornerback snaps in Week 18 against Los Angeles.

The Alabama product tied rookie linebacker Tyrice Knight as the Seahawks' leading tackler in Sunday's narrow loss. Jobe also tied his season high of seven stops in Week 16, having now accumulated 33 total tackles and seven passes defended, including one interception, across just nine appearances this season. The Alabama product filled an open spot on the Seahawks' 53-man roster created by Tyrel Dodson's released Monday. Jobe has appeared in each of the Seahawks' last three games, recording 17 total tackles and four passes defended, including one interception. He's expected to serve as a rotational cornerback in Seattle's secondary ahead of Week 11's matchup against the 49ers.
