Fehoko (elbow) is active for Saturday's wild-card matchup against the Texans.
Fehoko was activated from IR on Friday after missing the final 10 contests of the regular season due to an elbow issue. The fourth-year wideout will provide important receiver depth for Los Angeles on Saturday due to Joshua Palmer (foot) being unable to suit up. That said, Fehoko will likely be fifth on the wideout depth chart Saturday behind Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, DJ Chark and Derius Davis, so he may not log more than a minor offensive snap count.

The Chargers announced Tuesday that Fehoko (elbow) has had his 21-day window to return from IR opened, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Fehoko could potentially return from IR as early as Saturday's wild-card round playoff matchup against the Texans. Once cleared to retake the field, Fehoko will stand to contribute in a depth role in the Chargers' wide-receiver corps.

Fehoko has been on IR since Nov. 6 due to an elbow issue. He's now eligible to be activated, but it doesn't sound like that's going to happen this week. Fehoko had been getting occasional good run prior to his injury, playing at least 73 percent of the Chargers' offensive snaps in three of his eight games, but he was inefficient with just six catches on 16 targets -- though he turned those receptions into 106 yards -- over eight games.

The Chargers placed Fehoko (elbow) on injured reserve Wednesday, Kris Rhim of ESPN.com reports.
Fehoko injured his elbow during Sunday's win over the Browns and will now miss at least four games. His earliest possible date for a return will be Week 14 at Kansas City, with the upcoming absence potentially freeing up more snaps for Joshua Palmer, DJ Chark (groin), Jalen Reagor and/or Derius Davis. Fehoko played 79 of the Chargers' offensive snaps Sunday, the highest snap rate of any Los Angeles wideout. Despite leading the wide receiver corps in snaps, the 26-year-old was a complete non-factor against the Saints. The Chargers identity as a run-first team has shifted a bit in recent weeks, but not enough to support multiple wide receivers for fantasy purposes. With Ladd McConkey beginning to break out and Quentin Johnston's (ankle) impending return, Fehoko will remain far off the fantasy radar going forward. The Chargers will visit the Browns in Week 9.

Fehoko secured three of his six targets for 45 yards in Monday's 17-15 loss to the Cardinals.
Fehoko played 92 percent of the Chargers' offensive snaps, his highest share of the season and the most of any Los Angeles wideout in the contest. The six targets were another season high for the 26-year-old, but despite his increased involvement in the offense, Fehoko was unable to make much noise for fantasy purposes. Even if his playing time holds during Sunday's game against the Saints, Fehoko won't make for a reliable fantasy option while he remains tethered to a run-heavy offense.

Fehoko played 33 of the Chargers' 46 offensive snaps Sunday with Joshua Palmer (elbow/calf) sidelined for the contest. Chargers' Simi Fehoko: Hauls in 78-yard TD
Fehoko caught both his targets for 85 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 26-19 preseason win over the Cowboys.
Facing the team he made his NFL debut with in 2021, Fehoko got under a deep pass from Easton Stick on the first play of the second quarter, shed his defender and stayed in bounds before sprinting into the end zone. Fehoko is fighting for one of the last spots on an unsettled wide receiver depth chart following the offseason departures of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams (knee), but even Saturday's big play might not have been enough from him to claim a job on the season-opening roster. The Stanford product may have to settle for a spot on the Chargers' practice squad instead.
