Draft Scouting Report

Rating: 75.70 (Reserve/backup)
Pro Comparison: Jake Haener
Summary

Dillon Gabriel is a small, highly experienced lefty with a quick release and average NFL arm strength. He can generate adequate velocity when stepping into throws, but his accuracy fluctuates; he thrives in rhythm yet misses routine throws when off balance. While not a high-level anticipatory passer, he processes quickly and works through progressions well.

More quick than fast, Gabriel has a bouncy pocket presence and enough slipperiness to evade rushers, though he won’t outrun many defenders. He operated in a bootleg- and screen-heavy offense, showing some throw-on-the-run ability but being most effective working within structure.

His poise, quick-game efficiency and vast experience will appeal to NFL teams. While his physical traits are modest, his processing and composure give him a shot at the next level.
