The NBA's best descend upon Indianapolis this weekend for the NBA All-Star break. There will be two venues for the NBA's All-Star Weekend -- Gainbridge Fieldhouse and Lucas Oil Stadium, where Saturday's marquee events will be held. Saturday will feature the Skills Challenge, the Slam Dunk contest, Steph vs. Sabrina and the 3-Point Contest, with eight of the world's best shooters taking part. Milwaukee's Damian Lillard and Indiana's Tyrese Haliburton will highlight the 3-Point Contest field. Lillard won last year's event. The NBA 3-Point Contest is the second event of All-Star Saturday and is featured at Lucas Oil Stadium. The evening's events are set to begin at 8 p.m. ET.

The betting favorite is Lillard at +450, with Haliburton listed at +480 in the latest 2024 3-Point Contest odds. Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks is next at +550, followed by Karl-Anthony Towns (+600), Donovan Mitchell (+650) and Jalen Brunson (+650). Lauri Markkanen (+700) and Malik Beasley (+850) round out the odds board. 2024 NBA 3-Point Contest predictions

One surprise: PropStarz isn't backing Towns. Towns, who won in 2022, joins Lillard as past champions in the field. The 7-footer has had a lot of success from long range in his career. In four of his nine seasons, he has connected on 40% or better on his threes, and he is hitting a career-best 43.6% of his 3-pointers this season. Since joining the NBA in 2015-16, Towns has made 959 3-pointers in his career, including 120 this season. That's the seventh time he has accomplished that. In a game at Chicago last week, he connected on 7 of 16 3-pointers.

Selesnick knows that this is a very difficult field, and questions whether Towns will be able to find his winning groove. History also doesn't back Towns. In fact, every year since 2007-08, only Stephen Curry has been able to win multiple times. Towns, who is averaging 2.3 3-pointers per game this season, has been cold of late, and hit just 2 of 8 threes over a two-game span this week. See who to pick here.
