Some of the world's best 3-point shooters are at the forefront of 2024 NBA All-Star Saturday Night in Indianapolis. The evening features a pair of long-distance competitions, with one pitting Stephen Curry against Sabrina Ionescu. Prior to that, an eight-player field battles in the 2024 3-Point Contest. The event will feature seven All-Star selections and two former winners in Karl-Anthony Towns (2022) and Damian Lillard (2023).

The 3-Point Contest at Lucas Oil Stadium is the second event of All-Star Saturday, with the overall festivities set to begin at 8 p.m. ET. Lillard is the betting favorite at +450, with Tyrese Haliburton and Trae Young both listed at +480 in the 2024 3-Point Contest odds. Donovan Mitchell and Jalen Brunson are next on the odds board at +650. Lauri Markkanen (+700), Towns (+700) and Malik Beasley (+850) round out the rest of the field. 2024 NBA 3-Point Contest preview

Haliburton is the hometown hero in Indianapolis, as he leads the Pacers to one of the league's best offenses. He has also converted at least 39% of his 3-point attempts in every season of his career, and Haliburton is part of a jam-packed field. There are two previous winners in the mix with Towns in 2022 and Lillard in 2023. Towns is having a fantastic season, shooting 43% from long range, and he is a career 40% shooter. Lillard, who is the betting favorites, is a seven-time All-NBA selection who ranks in the top five all-time in career 3-pointers.

Severance does see better value elsewhere given Lillard's recent struggles, though, and he is only shooting 35.3% from 3-point range over the last three seasons. Elsewhere in the field, Young has more 3-pointers in 2023-24 than any other player in the field, and Brunson is shooting more than 40% this season and 40.1% over the last four seasons combined. Beasley is also the best shooter of the bunch this season at 44.9% from long range, and Mitchell finished in the top five of the NBA in 2022-23 with 143 3-pointers. See who to pick here.
