Ravens' Eddie Jackson: Makes deal with Baltimore
The Ravens signed Jackson to a one-year contract Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Chicago released Jackson back in February after his seventh season with the team, but he's now found another opportunity in Baltimore. Marcus Williams and 2022 first-rounder Kyle Hamilton should retain their spots in the Ravens' starting lineup to begin the year, but Jackson could eventually push his way onto the field if he can stay healthy.

Bears' Eddie Jackson: Departs from Chicago
Jackson was released by the Bears on Thursday.
Jackson posted a career-low 37 total tackles in 2023, his seventh NFL season, all with Chicago. The 30-year-old made the Pro Bowl in 2018 and 2019 and was well on his way to another successful season in 2022 before suffering a season-ending foot injury Week 12. The veteran safety will now have an opportunity to seek a career resurgence elsewhere ahead of the 2024 season.

Bears' Eddie Jackson: Finishes worst season of career
Jackson collected six tackles in the Bears' 17-9 loss to the Packers on Sunday.
Jackson posted the best stats of his career on a per-game basis in 2022, but he followed that up with the the least productive campaign of his seven-year career. For the second year in a row, he missed five games after never missing more than three games in any of his first five years. On the season, Jackson recorded 37 tackles and an interception. Going into the last year of his contract in his age-30 season, it's unlikely Jackson will be highly coveted in 2024 IDP drafts.

Bears' Eddie Jackson: First interception of season
Jackson intercepted a pass and recorded three tackles in the Bears' 20-17 loss to the Browns on Sunday.
Jackson hasn't been a reliable IDP this year, as he has three or fewer tackles in five of eight games played. His season-long performance makes it seem as if he'll remain a low-floor, low-ceiling IDP option over the last few weeks of the season.
