Lucas (groin) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's wild-card contest versus Tampa Bay.
Lucas suffered a groin injury Week 17 versus the Falcons and didn't play Week 18 against Dallas. He managed an LP/LP/FP progression during practice this week and is expected to take the field against the Buccaneers. Lucas started in seven of his 14 contests this season but has served mostly in a rotational role.

Lucas (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
Lucas injured his groin during the Commanders' Week 17 overtime win over the Falcons, which was serious enough to prevent him from practicing all week. He'll work on rehabbing from the injury and recovering enough to be available for the start of the playoffs.

Commanders' Cornelius Lucas: Won't suit up Week 9
Lucas (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Lucas hurt his ankle in last Sunday's win over the Bears and didn't play after the third quarter. The left tackle has started five of the eight games in which he's played this season and has logged 61 percent of the Commanders' offensive snaps. Brandon Coleman's workload will likely increase as a result of Lucas' absence Sunday.
