Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Back at practice
Gesicki (hamstring) returned to a limited practice Thursday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Gesicki didn't practice Wednesday, so the tight end's activity a day later -- albeit in a capped fashion -- has him trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants. However, he'll presumably need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Dealing with hamstring issue
Gesicki didn't practice Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Gesicki was on the field for 29 of the Bengals' 67 snaps on offense in this past Sunday's 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens, finishing with two catches for 31 yards on two targets. After logging 18 targets in his first three games this season, the veteran has seen just three over his last two outings, with the emergence of rookie Erick All (14-92-0 receiving line on 14 targets over the last four games) having begun to hamper Gesicki's fantasy upside.

Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Targeted twice against Ravens
Gesicki secured both of his targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens.
Gesicki played 29 of the Bengals' 67 offensive snaps Sunday while rookie tight end Erick All was on the field for 35 snaps. The rookie has now played more snaps that Gesicki in both of the past two weeks. The 29-year-old veteran could continue to see his role diminish with the emergence of All, not to mention the fact that head coach Zac Taylor has also kept a third tight end (Drew Sample) regularly involved on offense.

Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Targeted once in win
Gesicki caught his lone target for minus-nine yards in Sunday's 34-24 win over the Panthers.
Gesicki had his worst statistical game of the young season Sunday, tallying season lows in targets, catches and yards. In addition, the 28-year-old tight end saw his lowest offensive snap share in Week 4, playing 32 percent of snaps while rookie Erick All played 60 percent of snaps. Though one game should not lead to panic, the emergence of All could result in a reduced number of opportunities for Gesicki. Nonetheless, the veteran will look to bounce back in a Week 5 matchup against the Ravens.

Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Four grabs in loss
Gesicki caught four of his five targets for 47 yards in Monday's 38-33 loss to the Commanders.
Gesicki continued to be involved Monday and was one of five Cincinnati pass catchers to draw at least five targets. The veteran tight end has now seen at least four targets in each of the first three games. Gesicki also led all Cincinnati tight ends in playing time, logging 31 of the team's offensive snaps while Drew Sample played 25 and Erick All played 21. The 28-year-old has produced a respectable 14-156-0 receiving line through three games, but he may not make for a comfortable option in fantasy lineups until he secures a greater share of the snaps at tight end.

Bengals' Mike Gesicki: All set for Monday
Gesicki (calf) does not carry an injury designation for Monday's contest against the Commanders, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Gesicki was a full participant in Saturday's practice, clearing the way for the tight end to play Monday. The 28-year-old was a revelation in Week 2, recording seven receptions on nine targets for 91 yards in the loss, but that workload could shift with the return of wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring), who will be making his season debut Monday.

Bengals' Mike Gesicki: Status quo with limited practice
Gesicki (calf) remained limited in practice Friday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Gesicki has logged back-to-back limited sessions as the Bengals prepare to face the Commanders on Monday. He'll look to raise his participation and avoid Saturday's injury report altogether, which would be a relief for Gesicki's fantasy managers, as alternatives will be limited for those relying on Gesicki to fill a lineup spot Monday.
