Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Set for limited practice
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that Wicks (calf) will be a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
After tweaking his calf in the Packers' Week 7 win over the Cardinals, Wicks sat out both of Green Bay's subsequent two games while not practicing in any fashion ahead of either contest. The third-year wideout's ability to take the field in a limited capacity as the Packers begin Week 10 prep thus amounts to progress, though Wicks may still need to upgrade to full participation by Saturday in order to gain clearance for Monday's game against the Eagles. Wicks could find himself a spot lower in the pecking order at receiver once he returns, as the Packers have since welcomed Christian Watson back from the PUP list while Wicks has been on the mend.

Wicks (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Wicks has missed the last two weeks of practice due to the calf injury that he sustained during a Week 7 win at Arizona. He'll now sit out a second contest in a row as a result, making his next chance for game action Monday, Nov. 10 versus the Eagles. The Packers' Week 9 receiving corps will be composed of Romeo Doubs, Matthew Golden, Christian Watson (knee), Malik Heath and Savion Williams.

Wicks hasn't been able to practice since injuring his calf Week 7 in Arizona, already missing one game as a result. Wicks missed a Week 8 win over the Steelers after hurting his calf Week 7 at Arizona. He may not have much of a role even when he's healthy, as the Packers just got Christian Watson back in the lineup and then saw him put up 84 yards in his first game of the year.

Wicks is working his way back from a calf injury suffered Week 7 versus Arizona, and he didn't practice at all Week 8 en route to being ruled out versus the Steelers. He appears to now be trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's game against the Panthers. Wicks exited in the second half of last Sunday's win at Arizona due to a calf injury, and coach Matt LaFleur told Zach Kruse of USA Today on Wednesday that the third-year wide receiver wasn't in line to practice this week. Wicks indeed didn't mix into drills Wednesday through Friday and thus will miss his first game of the season. The Packers have two other question marks in the receiving corps, with Christian Watson (knee) awaiting activation from the reserve/PUP list and Matthew Golden (hip) added to the injury report Friday as limited. Green Bay's current healthy options at the position are Romeo Doubs, Malik Heath and Savion Williams.
