The Browns signed Griffin to the practice squad Thursday.
Griffin was unable to make the Raiders' 53-man roster as the primary returner on special teams. He'll now head to Cleveland, where he will stay ready for an elevation to the active roster.

Lideatrick Griffin: Doesn't get roster spot
Las Vegas waived Griffin on Tuesday, per the team's official site.
Griffin latched on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in April and got into two games during the exhibition slate, though all six of his snaps came on special teams. He showed some chops in the return game by tallying 90 yards on three kickoff returns, but Griffin was always considered a long shot to make the 53-man roster.

Raiders' Lideatrick Griffin: Signs with Silver and Black
Griffin signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent Saturday.
"Tulu" stands at 5-foot-10 and 181 pounds and ran a 4.43 forty at the combine after leading Mississippi State in receiving with a 50-658-4 line as a senior. His main selling point for the Raiders could be his returner skills after he showed some electricity with the ball in his hands during college.
