Guentzel had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over the Capitals on Saturday.
Guentzel's power-play goal late in the first period put the Bolts up 2-1. Victor Hedman's slap shot from the point deflected off Guentzel's knee and past Logan Thompson. Guentzel has three points in his last two games and five (two goals, three assists) in his past four contests. Guentzel has 15 points, including six goals, and 41 shots in 15 games this season.

Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Records two points in win
Guentzel scored a goal on his lone shot on target, added an assist and had a plus-1 rating during his 14:56 of ice time in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Mammoth.
It's now three straight games for Guentzel with just a single shot on goal, but he made his one shot count during Sunday's victory. The 31-year-old sniper buried his fifth goal of the season, the game-winning goal, to bring his point total up to 12 through 12 games on the season. The lack of shot volume isn't a concern yet; the winger still is averaging over three shots on goal per game despite the recent dry spell.

Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Extends point streak to four
Guentzel registered an assist and put five shots on goal in Sunday's 2-1 overtime win over the Golden Knights.
Guentzel grabbed a secondary helper on Brandon Hagel's goal early in the first period. With his performance Sunday, Guentzel is up to six assists, 10 points and 34 shots on net through nine appearances this year. After reaching the 80-point mark in 80 regular-season games last year, he is off to a strong start this season and is in a great spot to produce alongside Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov on Tampa Bay's top line. Guentzel should contend for at least 70 points and has a high ceiling in fantasy.

It was his first of the season. It started with an Anthony Cirelli face-off win back to Ryan McDonagh, who fed Guentzel deep on the right wing. He went five-hole on a one-timer from low in the left circle. Right now, Guentzel sits in a tie with Brayden Point for the team lead in scoring with five points (four games). Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Collects two helpers
Guentzel logged two assists, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Senators.
Guentzel helped out on goals by Oliver Bjorkstrand and Brayden Point just 1:25 apart in the first period. While Nikita Kucherov is the headliner of the Lightning offense, Guentzel is more than capable of a point-per-game season himself. He did that in 2024-25 with 41 goals and 39 helpers over 80 regular-season outings while cementing himself on the top line. The 31-year-old winger will also look to replicate his power-play production -- he earned 28 of his 80 points last year with the man advantage. Fantasy managers who took Guentzel with an early-round pick made a safe choice, though he's had a handful of injury-plagued seasons in his career.

Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Nets power-play marker in loss
Guentzel scored a power-play goal on four shots, added two PIM and went minus-2 in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Panthers in Game 5.
While the Lightning were unable to advance out of the first round, Guentzel was fantastic this postseason. He put up three goals, three assists, 16 shots on net, six hits and a minus-3 rating over five playoff outings. This was the first season of his seven-year deal with the Lightning, and the winger was a factor in all situations. He set career highs in goals (41) and power-play points (28) while reaching the 80-point mark for the second time in nine years. Guentzel is a part of the Lightning's core and will be a big contributor again in 2025-26.

Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Tallies on power play in loss
Guentzel scored a power-play goal on six shots and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Panthers in Game 1.
Guentzel has scored four times over his last four games, including two power-play goals in that span. His first year with the Lightning saw the winger tally a career-best 41 goals while reaching the 80-point mark for the second time in his career. He's locked into a top-six role and a spot on the first power-play unit, so he should be a significant factor in the Lightning's offense during the playoffs.
