Guhle scored two goals, one the game-winner, in Wednesday's 4-2 victory over the Hurricanes.
With the win, the Canadiens locked up the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference and booked a ticket to a first-round matchup against the Capitals. Guhle hadn't found the back of the net since Jan. 23, and the timely multi-goal performance was the first of his career. The 23-year-old blueliner wraps up the regular season with six goals, 18 points, 104 hits, 124 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating in 55 appearances.

Canadiens' Kaiden Guhle: First point since return
Guhle logged an assist, three shots on goal and two hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Panthers.
The helper was Guhle's first point in three games since returning from a quadriceps injury. The 23-year-old has added 10 hits and six blocked shots, and he's playing well as the more defensive half of a pairing with Lane Hutson. Guhle is up to 15 points, 62 shots on net, 106 blocked shots, 77 hits, 29 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 47 contests this season and should finish the regular season in a top-four role.

Canadiens' Kaiden Guhle: Set to return Friday
Guhle (quadriceps) is expected to be in the lineup Friday versus the Hurricanes, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.
Guhle will draw into the lineup as the Canadiens dress seven defensemen, offering a little insurance if he's not quite up to 100 percent yet. The 23-year-old will bolster the Canadiens' blue line as they look to find some leverage in the playoff race. Joshua Roy is set to come out of the lineup to make way for Guhle.

Canadiens' Kaiden Guhle: Set to travel
Guhle (quadriceps) practiced Monday and will travel with the Canadiens on the team's upcoming four-game road trip, which begins Tuesday in St. Louis.
Guhle has been out for the last 19 games after having surgery in late January to repair a lacerated quadriceps muscle. It remains unclear when he will be ready to return, but accompanying the team on the road will allow him to continue practicing. He has earned four goals, 14 points, 58 shots on net, 100 blocked shots and 67 hits in 44 appearances this season.
