  • Bruins' Jakub Lauko: Sets career high in goals

Lauko scored an empty-net goal and put out three hits in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Penguins. Lauko's empty-net goal not only helped seal the win for the Bruins but also allowed him to set a career high of five goals this season. Overall, the 25-year-old forward has five goals and 10 points across 55 appearances between Boston and Minnesota this season. Lauko has improved his play offensively as of late with two goals in his last three games. He's also been a solid contributor in the hits category with 116 in total. If the Bruins decide to re-sign Lauko, he has a solid chance to retain a middle-six role with the team.

  • Bruins' Jakub Lauko: Ties career high in goals

Lauko netted a goal and had two PIM in Tuesday's 7-2 victory over New Jersey. Lauko's goal would stand as Tuesday's game-winning tally as he gave the Bruins a 3-0 lead early in the second period. With Tuesday's twine finder, Lauko increased his goal total to four, which ties his career high from the 2022-23 season. The 25-year-old forward has nine points and 111 hits in 53 games this season. While his role on Boston's offense is limited in a fourth-line spot, he has the opportunity to tie or surpass his career high in points of 10 that he tallied a season ago. With three of his points coming in the last 13 games, this accomplishment is not out of the question for Lauko.

Lauko notched an assist, three hits, two blocked shots and two PIM in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Senators. Lauko earned his first point in three games since Minnesota traded him back to Boston at the deadline. The 24-year-old never had a chance to get comfortable with the Wild, as multiple injuries derailed his campaign. For the season, Lauko is at seven points, 30 shots on net, 79 hits, 31 PIM, 26 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 41 appearances. He's likely to remain limited to a bottom-six role for the remainder of this season.

Lauko (lower body) won't travel with the Wild to Detroit for Saturday's game, per Sarah McLellan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. • Wild's Jakub Lauko: Lands on injured reserve

Lauko was placed on injured reserve with a lower-body injury Wednesday. Lauko's shift to injured reserve allowed the Wild to claim Vinnie Hinostroza off waivers. Given his IR placement, the 24-year-old Lauko will miss at least the next two games and be sidelined through the 4 Nations Face-Off. It will be the third extended injury stint for Lauko this season, which has undoubtedly played a factor in his 24-game goal drought dating back to Oct. 29 versus the Penguins.

  • Wild's Jakub Lauko: First point since return

Lauko notched an assist and two shots on goal in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Maple Leafs. The helper was Lauko's first point in six appearances since he returned from missing a month due to a lower-body injury. The 24-year-old has resumed a fourth-line role, and given the Wild's reliance on the top six, it's unlikely Lauko makes much of an impact on offense moving forward. He's at five points, 24 shots on net, 25 PIM and 57 hits across 30 appearances this season.

  • Wild's Jakub Lauko: Activated off injured reserve

Lauko (lower body) was taken off long-term injured reserve Thursday. Lauko should be back in the lineup for Saturday's matchup with Nashville and will likely replace Marcus Johansson, who suffered an upper-body injury against Edmonton on Wednesday. Considering the 24-year-old Lauko is mired in a 14-game pointless streak, fantasy managers probably shouldn't be banking on him for offensive upside.

Lauko (lower body) has been transferred from IR to long-term injured reserve Wednesday, retroactive to Dec. 14.
