Kings' Alex Laferriere: Snags helper in loss
Laferriere notched an assist, three shots on goal, five hits and two blocked shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 4.
Laferriere picked up his first point of the playoffs with his helper on a Kevin Fiala tally in the second period. While he hasn't been scoring, Laferriere has added eight shots on net, 11 hits, four blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over four playoff contests. The 23-year-old brings a physical element to the third line, and while his scoring chances may stay limited, he can contribute in a variety of ways.

Kings' Phillip Danault: Two more helpers in loss
Danault logged two assists, five shots on goal and six blocked shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 4.
Danault has three multi-point efforts over four playoff games. He's amassed two goals, five assists, seven shots on net, six hits, 11 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating this postseason. The second-line center plays a massive defensive role for the Kings, though his recent success on offense is enough to make him an option in DFS.

Kings' Warren Foegele: Strong effort in loss
Foegele scored a goal on nine shots and blocked three shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 4.
Foegele's nine shots led the game, one more than Edmonton's two-goal scorer Evan Bouchard had. The 29-year-old Foegele continues to play a key supporting role for the Kings, earning three points, 17 shots on net, 12 hits, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over four playoff outings. The winger is on the second line and second power-play unit, offering some upside as a depth scorer with a bit of physicality.

Kings' Trevor Moore: Scores in Sunday's loss
Moore scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 4.
Moore has scored in back-to-back games despite the Kings losing both of those contests. He's up to four points, 11 shots, 13 hits, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over four playoff outings. Moore is playing in a middle-six role and serving on the second power-play unit.

Kings' Kevin Fiala: Tickles twine in loss
Fiala scored a goal on five shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 4.
Fiala stayed hot in the first round with his third goal and fifth point over four games. This was his first even-strength point of the series. His tally gave the Kings a 3-1 lead, but they couldn't make it stick. The winger has added 19 shots on net, 11 hits, five blocked shots and a plus-1 rating this postseason.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Falters late again in Game 4 loss
Kuemper stopped 43 of 47 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers in Game 4.
Kuemper had another bad third period. Of the 16 goals he's allowed in this series, 10 have come in the third period or overtime. That inability to close out games is unusual considering how good Kuemper was late in the regular season, which included a pair of shutout wins of the Oilers in April. Still, he's the Kings' No. 1 goalie, and it doesn't look like his role as the starter is in any danger heading into Game 5 back in Los Angeles.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Set to start Game 4
Kuemper is expected to guard the road goal against Edmonton on Sunday in Game 4 after being the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Kuemper surrendered five goals on the 34 shots he faced in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3. The 34-year-old netminder has a 2-1 record with a 4.04 GAA and an .859 save percentage through three games this postseason.

Kings' Joel Edmundson: Slides assist in Game 3 loss
Edmundson provided an assist, three blocked shots and two PIM in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.
Edmundson had been limited to one assist over his previous 10 outings, a span that also saw him miss five games due to an upper-body injury. The defenseman is filling a de facto top-four role as a veteran blueliner for the Kings this postseason. He had 20 points in 73 regular-season outings, matching his career high, so he shouldn't be expected to add much on offense in the playoffs.

Kings' Phillip Danault: Stays warm with two assists
Danault notched two assists, including one on the power play, and five blocked shots in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.
Danault has turned up the offense in the postseason, earning two goals and three assists over the first three games of the playoffs. He's also posted two shots on net, six hits, five blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. While Anze Kopitar and Adrian Kempe have gotten most of the headlines in this high-scoring series, Danault's steady two-way play makes him a reliable value pick in DFS contests.

Kings' Anze Kopitar: Provides two helpers in loss
Kopitar notched two assists, two shots on goal, four blocked shots and a minus-4 rating in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.
Kopitar is up to one goal and six assists over three playoff outings. While his offense has been strong -- three of his seven points have come on the power -- the center is also sporting a minus-4 rating in the postseason. This was also his first time in five games logging multiple shots on net. The 37-year-old center should be fine as a playmaker on the first line and on the power play, but he may struggle to score goals if he can't increase his shot volume.

Kings' Kevin Fiala: Lights lamp on power play
Fiala scored a power-play goal on seven shots, added four hits, blocked three shots and went minus-2 in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.
Fiala has four points, all on the power play, over the first three games of this first-round playoff series. The winger's goal Friday tied the contest at 2-2. Fiala has added 14 shots on net, nine hits and an even plus-minus rating. The Kings' top three lines can all make an impact on offense, so fantasy managers shouldn't be worried about Fiala's third-line usage -- especially when he's thriving on the first power-play unit.

Kings' Trevor Moore: One of each Friday
Moore scored a goal, added a power-play assist, doled out seven hits and blocked two shots in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.
Moore was involved in the Kings' last two goals of the contest. The winger snapped an eight-game goal drought with his second-period tally. He's up to three points, seven shots on net, nine hits, three blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over three playoff contests. Moore will continue to fill a middle-six role during the postseason.

Kings' Drew Doughty: Earns two points in loss
Doughty scored a power-play goal on four shots, added an assist and went minus-3 in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.
Doughty gave the Kings their first lead of the game at 15:07 of the second period. The defenseman is up to three points, seven shots on net, four blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over three playoff outings. Doughty is handling a large role well, which is especially helpful for the Kings since young blueliners Brandt Clarke and Jordan Spence don't appear to be trusted with significant minutes yet in this playoff run.

Kings' Adrian Kempe: Plays well in loss
Kempe scored a goal on three shots, added a power-play assist, blocked two shots and went minus-3 in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.
Kempe got the Kings on the board late in the first period and set up a Kevin Fiala power-play tally in the second. This was Kempe's fifth straight multi-point effort, four of which have been against the Oilers, including three straight to open the playoffs. He has four goals, five assists, 14 shots on net, five hits, four blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over three postseason outings in a top-line role.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Gives up five goals in loss
Kuemper stopped 29 of 34 shots in Friday's 7-4 loss to the Oilers in Game 3.
The Kings held even for the majority of the game, but a bad sequence in the third period cost them a chance at going up 3-0 in the series. Evander Kane scored a goal that the Kings challenged and lost, allowing Evan Bouchard to score on the ensuing power play. Kuemper has won two of his three playoff outings so far, but he's given up 12 goals on 85 shots in the series, which isn't nearly good enough against such a dangerous offense. That said, he has earned the benefit of the doubt, so expect to see the 34-year-old between the pipes for Game 4 on Sunday.

Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Expected to start in Game 3
Kuemper is set to start on the road against Edmonton in Game 3 on Friday, according to Zach Dooley of LA Kings Insider.
Kuemper has won the opening two games of the Kings' first-round series against the Oilers while stopping 44 of 51 shots (.863 save percentage). He's coming off a dominant regular season in which he posted a 31-11-7 record, 2.02 GAA and .921 save percentage across 50 appearances. Edmonton ranked 11th in goals per game with 3.16 during the regular season.
