Flyers' Travis Konecny: Signs eight-year extension
Konecny signed an eight-year, $70 million contract extension with the Flyers on Thursday.
The deal will begin in the 2025-26 season as Konecny has one more year at $5.5 million on the six-year deal he signed with the Flyers in September of 2019. Konecny had 33 goals and 68 points in 76 regular-season appearances last season -- both career highs. The 27-year-old will see first-line time, as well as first-unit power-play action in 2024-25, and could hit the 35-goal and 75-point mark, if he manages to remain healthy.

Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Skating after surgery
Drysdale has resumed skating after undergoing surgery in April, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports Wednesday.
Kimelman also reported that Drysdale underwent sports hernia surgery -- the defenseman's procedure had previously been undisclosed. The 22-year-old Toronto native is on track to be ready for training camp, though it will be worth checking in on his status once the Flyers report Sept. 22.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Signs two-year contract
Zamula signed a two-year, $3.4 million contract with Philadelphia on Sunday.
Zamula produced five goals, 21 points, 61 shots on net and 79 blocked shots across 66 regular-season outings with the Flyers this past campaign. The 24-year-old defender will probably see action in a bottom-pairing role in 2024-25.

Flyers' Jett Luchanko: Signs entry-level deal
Luchanko signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Flyers on Saturday.
Luchanko had 20 goals and 74 points in 68 contests with OHL Guelph in 2023-24. Philadelphia selected him with the No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. Luchanko boasts tremendous speed and plays a two-way game that gives him the potential to become a great middle-six forward. However, the 17-year-old is expected to need more time to develop before he gets his first taste of NHL action.

Flyers' Bobby Brink: Gets two-year contract
Brink signed a two-year, $3 million contract with the Flyers on Wednesday.
Brink had 11 goals and 23 points in 57 appearances with Philadelphia in 2023-24. He also supplied seven goals and 13 points across 13 regular-season contests with AHL Lehigh Valley. The 22-year-old should spend the full 2024-25 campaign at the NHL level while serving primarily in a middle-six capacity. Although his offensive production with the Flyers last season was nothing to write home about, Brink still has upside.

Flyers' Anthony Richard: Agrees to one-year deal
Richard signed a one-year, two-way contract with Philadelphia on Tuesday.
Richard compiled 25 goals and 55 points in 59 regular-season contests for AHL Providence in 2023-24. He also chipped in one goal and two helpers in nine NHL outings with Boston this past campaign. Richard will probably spend most, if not all, of 2024-25 in the minors.

Michkov signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Philadelphia on Monday.
Michkov was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. He produced 19 goals and 41 points in 47 games for HC Sochi of the KHL after being loaned from SKA St. Petersburg. The talented prospect could begin the 2024-25 campaign in the Flyer's top-six forward group.

Hathaway signed a two-year, $4.8 million contract extension with the Flyers on Monday.
Hathaway will complete the second season of his two-year, $4.75 million deal before his new contract begins. The 32-year-old had seven goals, 17 points, 132 PIM, 324 hits and 73 blocked shots in 82 outings with the Flyers in 2023-24. He is likely to remain in a fourth-line role.

Flyers' Erik Johnson: Staying in Philly
Johnson signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Flyers on Monday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Johnson chipped in five goals, one assist, 60 shots on net, 97 blocked shots and 143 hits in 67 regular-season games between Philadelphia and Buffalo in 2023-24. He will probably occupy a depth spot on the Flyers' blue line in the upcoming campaign.

Flyers' Spencer Gill: Joins Philly late in Round 2
Gill was the 59th overall pick by the Flyers in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.
Scouts hoped Gill would take on a more offensive role in his second junior campaign, and they certainly got their wish. The former No. 5 overall selection in the 2022 QMJHL Entry Draft, Gill managed just four assists in 41 games in his first year with Rimouski. He upped those totals to 12 goals and 46 points in 65 games this past season. The skills are evident, but there remains a rawness to Gill's game. That's not surprising given his mid-August birthday, which makes him one of the youngest players available in this year's class. Gill is a long-term upside play for Philadelphia and a smart one at this point of the draft.

Flyers' Jack Berglund: Swede heads to Philadelphia
Berglund was the 51st overall pick by the Flyers in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.
The son of former NHL defenseman Christian Berglund, who played 86 NHL games with New Jersey and Florida in the early 2000's, Jack, at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, is much bigger than his father. He was excellent (15 goals, 34 points in 41 games) in the Swedish junior league this past season, prompting an eight-game trial with Farjestad's main club in the SHL. Berglund has displayed an ability to create offense in a variety of different ways. Although he's playing primarily center now, some scouts think he's best served as a long-term wing. Either way, he's an intriguing "draft-and-stash" prospect for Philadelphia.

Flyers' Jett Luchanko: Lucky 13 on Draft Day
Luchanko was the 13th overall pick by the Flyers in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft on Friday.
There are a lot of people who think Luchanko is an Easton Cowan type home run on Draft Day. He's one of the fastest skaters in the 2024 class, and he's tenacious with and without the puck. His reads are almost textbook perfect at 17, and his playmaking is already verging on elite. Luchanko plays an unselfish team game and understands the role of center unbelievably well for such a young player. The knock is on his size, as sub-6-foot forwards need to be truly special to shine in the NHL. But Luchanko has the pieces that, with time, could make him into a William Karlsson or Phillip Danault type of two-way, middle-six pivot. That's the kind of player that all 32 NHL teams dream about as their 3C. In Philly, he might even skate up higher and play with Matvei Michkov. Look out if that happens.

Flyers' Matvei Michkov: Expected to join Flyers
Michkov will be granted his release from SKA St. Petersburg on Monday and will join the Flyers ahead of training camp, Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic reports.
Michkov was the seventh overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft and is one of the most talented prospects in the league. He totaled 19 goals and 41 points in 48 KHL games last season and didn't turn 19 years old until December. The 5-foot-10 winger will likely make the Flyers' roster to begin the 2024-25 campaign and could immediately slot into a top-six role.

Flyers' Adam Ginning: Inks two-year contract
Ginning signed a two-year, two-way/one-way contract extension with Philadelphia on Monday.
Ginning's new agreement will carry an average annual value of $787,500 and will ensure he gets paid like an NHLer in Year 2 of the deal. The 24-year-old blueliner had one goal, six shots on net, nine blocked shots and 18 hits in nine appearances with the Flyers during the 2023-24 campaign. He also earned two goals, 15 points and 82 PIM across 58 regular-season outings for AHL Lehigh Valley. Ginning will probably start the 2024-25 season in the minors.

Flyers' Rodrigo Abols: Signs one-year deal
Abols signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Flyers on Saturday, Bill Meltzer of NHL.com reports.
Abols was originally selected by Vancouver with the No. 184 pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He spent just one season in the Florida organization before returning to Europe for the 2020-21 campaign. The 28-year-old forward had 14 goals and 26 points in 50 regular-season games with Rogle of the SHL in 2023-24 and was productive in the playoffs with five goals and 12 points in 15 contests. He will probably start the 2024-25 season at the AHL level with Lehigh Valley.

Flyers' Sean Couturier: Recovering from sports hernia
Couturier said he's recovering from a "little sports hernia surgery, lower abs," Kevin Kurz of The Athletic reports Thursday.
Couturier was limited to a goal and eight points over his final 33 contests in 2023-24 after supplying 10 goals and 30 points across his first 41 appearances. Although it's not clear how long he was dealing with a sports hernia, the injury might help explain his steep decline in offensive production in the second half of the campaign. The 31-year-old will look to rebound next season, but injuries have been a recurring problem -- he missed the entire 2022-23 campaign due to injury and was limited to 29 games in 2021-22.

Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Underwent surgery in April
Drysdale underwent surgery in April to address a significant lower-body injury, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports.
The exact nature of Drysdale's injury wasn't revealed, but general manager Daniel Briere suggested it was a lower-body issue. Drysdale is expected to be ready to play by the start of the 2024-24 season, but given the severity of the injury, fantasy managers will want to track his status through training camp.

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Solid in first full season
Zamula recorded five goals, 16 assists and nine power-play points in 66 regular-season games this year.
Zamula finally was able to crack the Flyers' roster as a full-time player this season after having previously logged just 26 games over the prior three campaigns. The 24-year-old blueliner will need a new contract this summer but, as a restricted free agent, should be back in the fold ahead of training camp in the fall. If he can maintain or increase his role with the man advantage, Zamula should be capable of pushing for the 35-40 point mark next season.
