  • Flyers' Dan Vladar: Starting Friday versus France

Vladar will defend the Czech goal versus France on Friday at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Vladar backed up Lukas Dostal on Thursday as Canada defeated the Czechs 5-0. Vladar is having an outstanding season with the Flyers, going 17-8-6 with a gaudy 2.47 GAA and a .905 save percentage. France looks to be the weakest team in the tournament and that will benefit Vladar.

  • Flyers' Jett Luchanko: Goal, assist in OHL win

Luchanko scored a goal and added an assist in OHL Brantford's 5-2 win over Kingston on Sunday.

Luchanko's scoring pace has dropped since he was traded to the Bulldogs. He posted 17 points (two goals, 15 assists) in 11 games with Guelph before the trade, but he's picked up just four goals and 11 helpers over 19 contests with Brantford. That puts him at 31 points in 30 appearances, down from his 1.22 points per game pace in the 2024-25 regular season. Luchanko still has time to find a groove for his production, though he'll likely be doing so in the AHL in 2026-27.

  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Sent to AHL

Kolosov was assigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday.

Kolosov has been up and down with the Flyers during Samuel Ersson's absence due to a lower-body injury, suffered Jan. 29. Kolosov is 0-2-0 with the Flyers this season, allowing eight goals on 47 shots.

  • Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Forces overtime Thursday

Drysdale scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Senators.

Drysdale tied the game at 1-1 with 1:14 left in the third period. The 23-year-old defenseman has scored in each of the last two games, so he'll need to find a way to keep this newfound momentum up after the Olympic break. Drysdale has five goals, 23 points, 63 shots on net, 59 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 53 outings in a top-four role for the Flyers this season.

  • Flyers' Dan Vladar: Handed overtime loss

Vladar allowed two goals on 27 shots in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Senators.

Vladar put forth a good performance, but the Flyers didn't match his level. He can be credited with getting the game to overtime, but Tim Stutzle won it for the Senators just 47 seconds into the extra session. Vladar heads into the Olympics with 11 goals allowed on 112 shots over his last five outings, a span in which he went 1-1-2. He's now at a 17-8-6 record with a 2.47 GAA and a .905 save percentage over a career-high 33 appearances. It's unclear if Vladar will see much playing time with the Czech team, which boasts some depth in net with the Ducks' Lukas Dostal and the Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Out until after break

Ersson (lower body) will not be available Thursday against the Senators and should return after the Olympic break, according to Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports.

Ersson managed to participate at practice Thursday, but won't be part of the Philadelphia lineup Thursday versus Ottawa. He will miss his third straight game. Ersson is 8-10-5 with a 3.51 GAA and an .856 GAA across 24 appearances this season.

  • Flyers' Dan Vladar: In goal Thursday

Vladar will get the starting nod at home against the Senators on Thursday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Vladar will make his fifth straight appearance in the crease for the Flyers, having gone 1-1-0 in his last four outings while sporting a 2.70 GAA. Once the backstop wraps up Thursday's tilt, he can focus on joining Team Czechia in Milan, though he may face an uphill battle for starts with Lukas Dostal and Karel Vejmelka, the other two Czech netminders.

  • Flyers' Nicolas Deslauriers: Earns first point of season

Deslauriers recorded an assist, three hits and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.

Deslauriers' helper came on a Carl Grundstrom goal in the second period. Deslauriers earned his first point to go with 12 shots on net, 76 hits and 26 PIM, over 21 appearances this season. His struggles on offense have often left him out of the lineup, and one assist is unlikely to change his status as a rotational depth player.

  • Flyers' Travis Konecny: Supplies two helpers

Konecny notched two assists in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.

This was Konecny's fourth straight multi-point effort. He has five goals and four assists in that span, and he's earned a power-play helper in each of the last two games. For the season, the 28-year-old winger has been steady with 22 goals, 32 assists, 10 power-play points, 122 shots on net, 71 hits, 45 PIM and a plus-9 rating over 54 appearances. Konecny is a reliable multi-category contributor in a top-line role.

  • Flyers' Carl Grundstrom: Nets goal in win

Grundstrom scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.

Grundstrom had been a healthy scratch for the previous two games, but he bumped Garnet Hathaway out of the lineup Tuesday. The 28-year-old Grundstrom has had some good stretches this season, but he has just two points, 12 shots and 43 hits over 13 outings since the start of January. Overall, the winger is at eight goals, two helpers, 31 shots on net, 79 hits, 15 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating through 26 contests.

  • Flyers' Jamie Drysdale: Strikes on power play in win

Drysdale scored a power-play goal on two shots and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.

Drysdale ended a 20-game goal drought with his third-period tally, which stood as the game-winner. The defenseman had seven assists and a minus-10 rating during that span. Drysdale is up to four goals, 22 points (five on the power play), 61 shots on net, 59 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 52 appearances. He has a chance to take a run at the 30-point mark for just the second time in his career.

  • Flyers' Rasmus Ristolainen: Scores, assists in win

Ristolainen scored an empty-net goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.

Ristolainen didn't record his first point until Dec. 23 after making his season debut Dec. 16. He's riding a modest two-game point streak, and his empty-netter in the final minute of Tuesday's win was his first goal of 2025-26. The 31-year-old has been skating on the first pairing while posting six points, 28 shots on net, 26 blocked shots and 20 hits through 18 appearances.

  • Flyers' Owen Tippett: Pots goal Tuesday

Tippett scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals. He also added three shots on goal, two hits and one blocked shot.

Tippett scored a goal for the first time since his hat trick against the Avalanche on Jan. 23. The 26-year-old winger has been consistent as a scoring weapon for the Flyers and looks to be on pace to hover around the 50-point plateau if he stays healthy down the stretch. Tippett has reached that mark just once in his career, but he's recorded at least 43 points in each of the last three seasons.

  • Flyers' Dan Vladar: Makes 26 saves in win

Vladar stopped 26 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Capitals.

Since returning from a lower-body injury last Wednesday, Vladar posted a save percentage of at least .900 and won for the first time. Despite his 2.74 GAA and .885 save percentage since the beginning of January, the 28-year-old netminder should see the bulk of the starts down the stretch for the Flyers.

  • Flyers' Ty Murchison: Done for season

Murchison underwent surgery for an upper-body injury and is expected to miss the rest of the season, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports Tuesday.

Murchison had six points in 29 AHL outings and went scoreless in three NHL games. The defenseman was playing in his first full professional season, and it's not yet clear if he'll be healthy for training camp. Given the missed development time, Murchison is likely to start 2026-27 in the AHL.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Not available Tuesday

Ersson (lower body) will not be in the lineup for Tuesday's clash with Washington, per NHL.com.

Ersson went 2-4-1 with a 3.97 GAA in his last eight outings prior to suffering his lower-body injury. With the 26-year-old netminder on the shelf, Aleksei Kolosov figures to serve as the No. 2 option behind Dan Vladar on Tuesday. At this point, Ersson may struggle to secure regular opportunities behind Vladar even once given the all-clear.

  • Flyers' Dan Vladar: In goal Tuesday

Vladar will get the starting nod at home against the Capitals on Tuesday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Vladar has gone six straight appearances in the crease without registering a win, going 0-2-2 with a 3.22 GAA. Still, the 28-year-old backstop remains the No. 1 option for the Flyers, especially with Samuel Ersson (lower body) dealing with an injury. Even with his recent struggles, Vladar should still be capable of reaching the 20-win mark for the first time in his NHL career.
