  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Makes 34 saves in loss

Swayman saved 34 of 38 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Golden Knights. Swayman failed to hold a 3-1 lead, allowing a goal with 34 seconds left in the second period and two more in the third. The regulation loss drops his record to 18-18-4, along with a 2.98 GAA and .898 save percentage in 40 games this season. Swayman already has a new career high in regulation losses in his first season as a true No. 1 option in the crease, but he's also on pace to easily surpass his career high of 44 appearances. With the Bruins in the mix for a playoff spot, Swayman should continue to see a large volume of opportunities in net during the stretch run following the 4 Nations Face-Off.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Blanks Wild for third shutout

Swayman made 35 saves in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Minnesota. The 26-year-old netminder recorded his third shutout of the season, and his first since Dec. 28. Swayman continues to struggle with his consistency, and the pressure of living up to the big contract extension he signed right before the season started could still be weighing him down. Through 12 outings since the beginning of January, he's gone 5-6-1 with a 3.07 GAA and .910 save percentage.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: In goal versus Minnesota

Swayman will patrol the home blue paint against the Wild on Tuesday, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports. Swayman has alternated wins and losses over his last four outings, allowing at least three goals in three of those games. He made 22 saves on 25 shots in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Rangers. Minnesota is tied for 17th in the NHL with 2.89 goals per game this season.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Carried to win by offense

Swayman made 22 saves in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Rangers. A hat trick by David Pastrnak helped fuel a big afternoon for the Bruins' offense, allowing Swayman to come away with his 17th win of the season. The 26-year-old netminder has given up at least three goals in five of his last seven outings but has still found some success thanks to the play of his teammates, going 4-2-1 over that stretch despite a 3.52 GAA and .902 save percentage.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Allows two hat tricks in loss

Swayman made 26 saves in a 7-2 loss to Buffalo on Tuesday. He allowed six goals. Swayman surrendered hat tricks to both Tage Thompson and JJ Peterka, though the latter's final goal was scored on an empty net. Swayman is 3-6-1 in his last 10 starts, and he's never really found his game since his contract hold-out. His .895 save percentage and 3.03 GAA are the worst of his career. Bruins fans are raging online about that contract already being an albatross, but we're cutting him some slack. It's hard to get in the groove after missing training camp. Swayman may be available in keeper and dynasty leagues if his manager thinks the online chatter is real. This year is a blip.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Expected to be available Saturday

Swayman (upper body) is expected to at least be an option ahead of Saturday's clash with Colorado, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI 93.7FM reports. Swayman hasn't been confirmed as the starter but is at least available if called upon. The Bruins' netminder has been struggling of late with just two wins in his last nine outings, going 2-6-1 with a 3.22 GAA. Considering the Alaska native is just one game back from a minor upper-body injury, it wouldn't be a shock to see Joonas Korpisalo get one more start before Swayman gets the nod against Buffalo on Tuesday.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Injury considered minor

Head coach Joe Sacco said before Thursday's game against the Senators that Swayman is dealing with a minor upper-body injury, Joe McDonald of The Hockey News reports. Sacco hinted after Wednesday's game against the Devils that Swayman was dealing with an injury following his early exit from the matchup, and it's now been revealed that the netminder is dealing with an upper-body injury. However, Sacco also said Thursday that he's "cautiously optimistic" that Swayman will be available for Saturday's game against Colorado, so he should be considered day-to-day for now. Swayman then got out-waited by Tim Stutzle for the only successful shootout attempt. The five goals against were the most Swayman has given up since Dec. 10, but he's bean getting little help from his defense of late, facing more than 40 shots in three straight starts.
