    Analysis

    I played Denver last week, and while the bet cashed, I actually thought Jacksonville was the better team. The Jags didn't put the game away when they had the chance, which let the Broncos seize momentum in the fourth quarter and steal the win. I like Jacksonville to bounce back at home this week. The Patriots beat an average Steelers team, although I still wasn't overly impressed with the performance. Even though the Jags lost in Denver, I view them as a legit Super Bowl contender. I'll lay under a field goal early with Jacksonville at home. I think this number might get to 3 or 3.5 during the week.

    Analysis

    The Chargers are an absolute mess right now, and staring at a brutal schedule that could leave them 0-9 in the blink of an eye. With two straight no-shows at home against what are expected to be two of the weaker teams in the league, I have no confidence keeping this one close on the road against what has looked like one of the best teams in the league. The scoring probably starts at 30 for Buffalo, and the Chargers haven't shown they can score 20, so I expect this line to rise in the market as people continue to sour on Jim Harbaugh's squad.

    Analysis

    Both these teams have started 0-2, but this line is telling us not to worry about the Texans. Why? The Colts were about the same number at home against the Ravens, an AFC favorite rated higher than Houston, in Week 1. While the Texans had a better showing last week, the Colts looked better in a tougher spot in Week 2 when Houston was missing Nico Collins. The star WR is expected to miss this matchup as well, and that makes this line closer to pick 'em for me in Indy, so I'm going to grab it now while 3s are available.

    Analysis

    This could be the battle of backup QBs after Jayden Daniels suffered an elbow injury Sunday, and that certainly favors Seattle. Drew Lock has delivered strong numbers thus far, and with the Washington defense having no answer for CeeDee Lamb, I don't know how they slow down Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Marcus Mariota was fine in relief last week, but facing this Seahawks defense is a different beast -- a stronger Cardinals offense had just 151 yards against Seattle. I think this line should be close to 10 as I see it as nearly as much of a mismatch as Chiefs-Dolphins this week.

    Analysis

    The Jaguars are the better team here. Dominated the first half and had the Broncos dead, but missing a FG and then letting Denver right back in the game. Meanwhile, yes, the Patriots defense looked good in shutting down Pittsburgh. But what does that mean. A Pittsburgh team that struggled to get by a really bad Atlanta team the week before. I am just not sold yet that New England can beat anyone good. Cause they really haven't. They didn't last year, even with a Super Bowl run, not facing a top 10 defense in reg season and struggled in all 3 postseason wins. The Pats scored on a scoop 6 and a TreVeyon Henderson house call, while Drake Maye was awful again.
