The Cards are hitting well on the road, scoring 4+ runs in six of the last seven (the lone blip was when Pallante last threw). Blade Tidwell has allowed six runs in his last two home starts and the SF bullpen has a 5.77 ERA the last two weeks.

    Analysis

    Texas has scored at least six runs in six of its last eight games. The Rangers are in a spot to pour it on again in Seattle against rookie Kade Anderson. Through three starts, the left-hander has a 5.40 ERA and the Rangers’ .946 OPS vs. left-handers the last two weeks tops MLB. The Mariners’ bullpen, with a 5.45 ERA in that same span, doesn’t offer a ton of relief.

    Analysis

    Red Sox LHP Jake Bennett is in a mini-slump but here’s a good spot to bounce back. Over the last 15 days, the Angels’ OPS vs. left-handers is .408, their OPS on the road is .554. Compare that to Boston’s splits of .703 and .916. Ryan Johnson has been dealing for the Angels with a 2.70 ERA his last seven starts, but he’s 1-3 in that span because L.A. doesn’t score and the bullpen is struggling. Taking the run line drops the odds over 100 points.

    Analysis

    Aaron Judge was rusty on Tuesday in his first game since May 31st. The great slugger was 0 for 3 with two strikeouts against the Rockies but I have a strong feeling that changes on Wednesday. Against Rockies starter Tomoyuki Sugano, Judge is 7 for 9 lifetime with three home runs. Look for at least one extra base hit as Judge gets ready for the postseason with a few weeks to play.

    Analysis

    I'm not entirely comfortable with betting Reynaldo Lopez coming off the IL on Wednesday for Atlanta but it's not as if Griffin Jax is all that much more trustworthy for Tampa Bay. If Lopez can give Atlanta four solid innings, I like their chances with a rock solid bullpen. The Braves are 48-25 at Truist Park this season, only a half game behind the Brewers for the best in baseball. But Atlanta has lost 3 of its last 4 games and needs this one to remain at least four games up on Philadelphia in the National League East. Expect a much better performance from the home team after being walloped on Tuesday night by Tampa Bay.
