Mintyukov scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Capitals. Mintyukov earned his second multi-point effort of the campaign, with the other one coming back on Oct. 16 versus Utah, where he scored twice. More recently, Mintyukov has four points and a minus-2 rating over his last eight contests while filling a third-pairing role. The 21-year-old blueliner is up to five goals, one more than he had last year, and a total of 15 points over 52 appearances. He's also racked up 56 shots on net, 71 blocked shots, 62 hits and a minus-8 rating.... See More ... See Less

Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Lends assist Sunday
Mintyukov notched an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders. The Ducks' dealings at the deadline have opened up room in the lineup for both Mintyukov and Olen Zellweger, as Brian Dumoulin was shipped to New Jersey and Oliver Kylington was brought in from the Islanders. If Mintyukov is able to get stable playing time down the stretch, it should help him end the season strong. The defenseman has two helpers over his last seven contests and is at 13 points, 54 shots on net, 70 blocked shots, 62 hits and a minus-10 rating over 51 appearances this season. However, if his play slips, Mintyukov could still find himself in the press box on occasion, especially if the Ducks want to see what Kylington brings to the table.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Helps out on power play
Mintyukov notched a power-play assist, two blocked shots, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres. Mintyukov has played in just two of the Ducks' six games in February so far. He was a regular in the lineup in January, but the Ducks have rotated their young defensemen at times, with Mintyukov, Olen Zellweger and Drew Helleson all at risk of trips to the press box. For the season, Mintyukov has gone through a sophomore slump, producing 12 points, 50 shots on net, 69 blocked shots, 49 hits and a minus-8 rating through 45 appearances, though he sees power-play time when he plays.... Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Opens scoring in win
Mintyukov scored a goal, blocked two shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators. Mintyukov has three points over his last 10 outings. The 21-year-old defenseman hasn't been scratched in that time, but he could lose time to Olen Zellweger at some point later in the campaign. Mintyukov is at four goals, seven assists, 49 shots on net, 48 hits, 63 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 41 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Snags assist in shootout loss
Mintyukov notched an assist and two shots on goal in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Lightning. Mintyukov helped out on Robby Fabbri's game-tying goal in the third period. Mintyukov is one of the Ducks' blueliners that's cycled in and out of the lineup, along with Olen Zellweger and Drew Helleson. For the season, Mintyukov has 10 points, 44 shots on net, 58 blocked shots, 41 hits and a minus-5 rating over 37 appearances. When he's in the lineup, he often sees power-play time, though he has just two power-play points so far.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Earns power-play helper
Mintyukov notched a power-play assist, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flames. Mintyukov was scratched for the previous two games, but he replaced Olen Zellweger in the lineup Tuesday. The two young blueliners appear to be competing for one spot in the lineup, though it's likely neither one will be sitting out for long, as they both need playing time for their development. Mintyukov has three helpers over his last outings and is up to nine points, 38 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 34 hits and a minus-4 rating through 32 contests. While he can put up decent offense, the playing-time situation is less than ideal, making Mintyukov a risky option for most fantasy managers.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Tallies in Tuesday's win
Mintyukov scored a goal on three shots, added two hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Blackhawks. Mintyukov has broken free of his early slump, recording three points over his last four games. The 20-year-old defenseman is up to three goals -- one shy of his total from last season -- and five points through 17 outings. He's added 23 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 11 hits and a minus-4 rating. The Ducks' lack of offense is a concern, but Mintyukov can be a multi-category contributor (points, blocks, shots on net) in deeper formats if he can sustain his recent performance.... See More ... Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Picks up helper in loss
Mintyukov recorded an assist, three shots on goal and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights. This was Mintyukov's first point since his two-goal game Oct. 16 versus Utah. The 20-year-old defenseman has been a regular in the Ducks' lineup, but the team's scoring struggles have hampered his scoring. In addition to three points, Mintyukov has 19 shots on net, 22 blocked shots, eight hits and a minus-4 rating over 14 appearances in a top-four role. He has some upside after putting up 28 points as a rookie last season, but with his physicality down, his overall profile isn't all that encouraging.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Back at practice
Mintyukov (illness) participated in Monday's practice, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports. Mintyukov should be available to play Tuesday against San Jose after missing Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Kings. He has compiled two goals, three shots on net, six blocked shots and three hits in four appearances this campaign. With Mintyukov likely to play, Olen Zellweger might be a healthy scratch against the Sharks.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Good to play Wednesday
Mintyukov (lower body) will draw into the lineup for Wednesday's preseason game against Utah, per Eric Stephens of The Athletic. Mintyukov had four goals, 28 points, 85 hits and 65 blocks in 63 contests with the Ducks in 2023-24. He's projected to open the upcoming campaign in a top-four role, but he might not see time with the man advantage.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Not ready for start of camp
Mintyukov is dealing with a lower-body injury and is day-to-day to begin training camp. Mintyukov ended 2023-24 with a bone bruise, though it's unclear if the injury keeping him out early in camp is the same one. The 20-year-old defenseman produced 28 points in 63 games as a rookie last year and should be in contention for a top-four role this season. It's unclear at this time if he'll be ready to go when the Ducks begin their preseason slate Tuesday against the Sharks.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Out Sunday
Mintyukov (lower body) will not play Sunday against the Blues. Mintyukov is still considered day-to-day but will miss a fourth straight game. His next chance to suit up will be Tuesday against Los Angeles.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Still considered day-to-day
Mintyukov (lower body) remains day-to-day and won't be available against Seattle on Friday, per NHL.com. Mintyukov will be out of action for his third straight game due to his lingering lower-body issue. In his rookie campaign, the blueliner has generated four goals on 88 shots, 24 assists and seven power-play points while averaging 18:51 of ice time in 63 outings. Radko Gudas will rejoin the lineup against the Kraken after recovering from an upper-body injury.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Unavailable Sunday
Mintyukov (lower body) won't play Sunday against Vancouver. Mintyukov has four goals, 28 points, 88 shots on net, 65 blocked shots and 84 hits in 63 games this season. He will be replaced in the lineup by Jackson LaCombe.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Puts up assist in win
Mintyukov notched an assist, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Blackhawks. Mintyukov has two helpers over his last three contests. The 20-year-old rookie continues to stick in the Ducks' lineup, but his role -- particularly on the power play -- has fluctuated in recent weeks. He's at 27 points, 83 shots on net, 77 hits, 59 blocked shots and a minus-17 rating through 59 appearances. Mintyukov should be considered a bottom-four option on a low-scoring team for the remainder of this season, giving him limited fantasy appeal.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Rookie adds apple
Mintyukov posted an assist, along with three shots and three hits, in Sunday's 4-2 loss to St. Louis. With three goals and 26 points on the season, Mintyukov is having a solid rookie campaign. He has scuffled lately, though, as he has no goals in his last 12 games, and Sunday's helper was only Mintyukov's third assist over that span. He's getting ice time and the production hasn't completely dried up, but Anaheim isn't scoring in droves, which makes it hard to depend on production from Mintyukov.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Picks up assist Thursday
Mintyukov notched a shorthanded assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 6-4 win over the Sharks. Mintyukov earned the first shorthanded point of his career when he set up Brett Leason's first-period tally. The 20-year-old Mintyukov topped 20 minutes of ice time for the first time since Dec. 5 with Ilya Lyubushkin getting scratched for a trade and Cam Fowler (face) exiting the game after one shift. Mintyukov is up to 24 points, 67 shots on net, 66 hits, 47 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating over 48 appearances this season. Mintyukov would likely slot onto the first power-play unit if Fowler's injury costs him playing time.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Three helpers in Wednesday's loss
Mintyukov picked up three assists and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Blue Jackets. Mintyukov assisted on three straight goals late in the second period. While that surge helped the Ducks pull even, their offense fell flat in the third. Mintyukov has four points over five games since he returned from a shoulder injury. The rookie defenseman has 23 points, 64 shots on net, 63 hits, 44 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 45 appearances overall. He has remained in a bottom-four role and on the second power-play unit since his return, which has capped his fantasy value.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Tallies opening goal
Mintyukov scored a goal in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Senators. Mintyukov has been eased back into action on the third pairing over the last two games after he missed a month with a shoulder injury. The 20-year-old's goal Thursday was his first since Dec. 18. He's up to three goals, 20 points, 62 shots on net, 51 hits, 44 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating over 42 appearances in his rookie season. Mintyukov was seeing first-unit power-play time before the injury, but Cam Fowler is currently in that role.... See More ... See Less -
Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Activated from IR
Mintyukov (shoulder) was activated from injured reserve Tuesday, per the NHL media site. Mintyukov is projected to skate on the third pairing and see time on the top power-play unit Tuesday versus Montreal following an 11-game absence. The 20-year-old rookie has two goals, 19 points, 56 hits and 43 blocked shots in 40 contests this season.... See More ... See Less
