Predators' Alex Huang: Puts up three helpers
Huang logged three assists in QMJHL Chicoutimi's 7-6 overtime loss to Baie-Comeau on Sunday.
Huang has six helpers over his last three games. The defenseman continues to pile up assists this season, logging two goals and 24 helpers over 25 outings on the year. The 2024 fourth-round pick of the Predators is showing growth on offense, and his plus-18 rating is proof of an improvement in his own zone as well.

Predators' Brady Martin: Breaks out of slump
Martin scored twice and added an assist in OHL Sault Ste. Marie's 7-3 win over Sarnia on Sunday.
Martin had 11 point over his first five games back in the junior ranks, then went five contests without a point. He's turning things around now with three goals and two helpers over his last two outings, giving him 16 points and a plus-7 rating over 12 appearances in total. The Nashville prospect has a promising future, but consistency will be something for him to focus on in the near term.

Predators' Matthew Wood: Tickles twine Saturday
Wood scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
Wood has two goals over his last five games. He saw a move into the top six in November, but he's back in a smaller role now, which will limit his effectiveness. For the season, the 20-year-old winger has eight goals, 12 points, 41 shots on net, 15 hits and a minus-4 rating over 21 outings.

Predators' Michael Bunting: Lights lamp on power play
Bunting scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
Bunting has two goals and two assists over three games in December. The winger got the Predators on the board in the third period, though it was far too late to make a real impact in the game. Bunting is up to seven goals, 17 points (six on the power play), 40 shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-7 rating over 28 appearances. His production doesn't stand out, but he's on the Predators' top power-play unit, so he could help in some fantasy formats.

Predators' Filip Forsberg: Two points in Saturday's loss
Forsberg produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
Both points came in the third period in what was essentially garbage time, as the Predators had already fallen into a 6-1 hole. It was Forsberg's first multi-point performance in over a month, snapping a four-game point drought. The veteran winger has a disappointing 10 goals and 19 points in 28 contests -- a pace that would see him fall short of 60 points over a full season for the first time since 2016-17.

Predators' Justus Annunen: Needed in relief Saturday
Annunen stopped the only two shots he faced after replacing Juuse Saros midway through the third period of Saturday's 6-3 loss to Carolina.
Saros getting the hook had far more to do with the Predators' lackadaisical defensive effort than it did his own performance, and Nashville was down 6-1 when Annunen took the crease. The 25-year-old backup netminder has just one win in his nine appearances this season, going 1-4-1 with a rough 3.83 GAA and .846 save percentage.

Predators' Juuse Saros: Gets late hook Saturday
Saros stopped 32 of 38 shots before being replaced by Justus Annunen midway through the third period of Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.
Shoddy defensive effort in the first 8:12 of the final frame led to the final two goals against Saros and a 6-1 deficit for the Predators, forcing coach Andrew Brunette to make a desperation switch in the crease. The six goals allowed were a season worst for Saros, snapping a three-start win streak in which he'd given up a total of five goals on 86 shots. On the season, the veteran netminder is 9-10-3 in 22 outings with a 3.04 GAA and .893 save percentage.

Predators' Nick Perbix: Still sidelined Saturday
Perbix (upper body) won't play Saturday versus the Hurricanes, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Perbix will miss his third straight game with the injury. His next chance to play is Tuesday versus the Avalanche. Adam Wilsby is set to stay in the lineup during Perbix's absence.

Predators' Juuse Saros: Looking to keep rolling
Saros will protect the road goal versus the Hurricanes on Saturday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.
Saros has allowed just five goals on 86 shots during his three-game winning streak. He'll get his toughest test in a while against the Hurricanes, though they've scored just 14 goals while going 3-3-0 over their last six games.

Predators' Joakim Kemell: Three-point effort Friday
Kemell scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Milwaukee's 6-4 loss to Chicago on Friday.
Kemell has four goals and three assists over his last five games. He's earned a couple of NHL stints this season, and it's only a matter of time before the 21-year-old sticks in Nashville. At the AHL level, he's racked up five goals and eight assists over 13 appearances.

Predators' Ryan Ufko: Picks up trio of points
Ufko scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Milwaukee's 6-4 loss to Chicago on Friday.
Ufko has two goals and five assists during a five-game point streak. He's had two really good stretches this season, sandwiched around a quiet run. He's at six goals, 20 points, 37 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 19 appearances. He had just 30 points in 72 regular-season outings a year ago, and it seems to be only a matter of time before the Predators give him a look at the NHL level.

Predators' Jack Ivankovic: Shuts out in-state rivals
Ivankovic posted a 23-save shutout in the University of Michigan's 3-0 win over Michigan State University on Friday.
A performance like that, in a battle between two highly-ranked programs, is a massive feather in the cap for Ivankovic. He's already earned three shutouts this season while going 16-3-0 for the No. 1 ranked Wolverines. He's also posted a 1.90 GAA and a .926 save percentage over 19 appearances. The Predators look to have a quality prospect on their hands, especially if he continues to improve from what he's done as a freshman so far.

Predators' Cameron Reid: Three-point effort Friday
Reid scored a goal and added two assists in OHL Kitchener's 6-3 win over Peterborough on Friday.
Reid has five goals and three assists over his last six outings. The Nashville prospect has found a bit more consistency on offense after struggling in that regard for much of November. On the year, he has eight goals and 17 helpers through 26 appearances. The 2025 first-round pick has grown his offense while remaining steady in his own zone so far in 2025-26.

Predators' Justin Barron: Shifted to IR
Barron (lower body) was designated for injured reserve Friday and is considered week-to-week.
Barron has already been out of action for the Preds' last seven contests and doesn't appear to be close to returning. Considering the 24-year-old blueliner has managed just four points in 19 outings this year, his absence is unlikely to impact the majority of fantasy managers. Even once given the all-clear, Barron could find himself serving as a healthy scratch periodically.

Predators' Ozzy Wiesblatt: Lands on injured reserve
Wiesblatt (upper body) is expected to miss 8-10 weeks and has been placed on injured reserve Friday.
Based on his timeline, Wiesblatt likely will be out of action through the Olympic break in February, though it's possible he gets into a game or two before then. In 24 outings this year, the 23-year-old winger has tallied one goal on 22 shots, three assists and 60 hits while averaging 10:38 of ice time. Tyson Jost figures to see the biggest uptick in ice time with Wiesblatt out of action.

Predators' Steven Stamkos: Nets overtime winner
Stamkos scored a goal, added two PIM and logged two hits in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Panthers.
Stamkos has four goals and two assists over his last five contests while going plus-4 in that span. The 35-year-old's offense has been sparked by a move up to the top line, where he's found some chemistry with Ryan O'Reilly. Stamkos is now at eight goals, three helpers, 50 shots on net, 21 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-8 rating across 27 appearances.

Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Sparks comeback win in Florida
O'Reilly produced a goal and an assist in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Panthers.
With the Predators down 1-0 midway through the third period, the veteran center banged a puck past Sergei Bobrovsky from in close to tie it. O'Reilly then got the puck back to Steven Stamkos on the rush with less than a minute left in OT for the winner. O'Reilly has three multi-point performances in the last five games, a stretch in which he's popped for three goals and eight points -- double his production from the prior 12 contests (one goal, four points).

Predators' Juuse Saros: Sharp in OT win
Saros made 30 saves in Thursday's 2-1 overtime win over the Panthers.
Carter Verhaeghe got a puck past Saros late in the first period, but the veteran netminder shut down the Florida offense the rest of the way, giving Nashville a chance to finally solve Sergei Bobrovsky in the other crease. Saros has won three straight starts, allowing just five goals on 86 shots during that stretch to even his record on the season at 9-9-3 with a 2.86 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 21 appearances.
