Major League Baseball will conclude its 2020 amateur draft on Thursday. The MLB draft started on Wednesday, with the Detroit Tigers selecting Arizona State University first baseman Spencer Torkelson No. 1 overall, and teams making a combined 37 picks. Rounds two through five will take place on Thursday, beginning at 5 p.m. ET.

The Houston Astros were stripped of their first and second round picks in the 2020 and 2021 drafts as part of their punishment for the sign-stealing scandal. The Red Sox were only stripped of this year's second round pick for their sign-stealing scandal.
