  • Braves' Ronald Acuna: Goes deep, swipes bag

Acuna went 2-for-5 with a solo homer and a stolen base in Monday's win against the Mets.

Acuna singled and stole second in the first inning before knocking a solo shot in the third. He went deep for the ninth time and stole his third bag of the year. It was the first time since September of 2023 that Acuna had a home run and a steal in the same contest. He owns a ridiculous .396/.500/.713 slash line through 122 plate appearances.

  • Braves' Ronald Acuna: Crosses plate twice in loss

Acuna went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Marlins.

The 27-year-old continues to make up for lost time, after his season debut was delayed for two months while he completed his recovery from knee surgery. Acuna's hit safely in 16 of 19 June contests, slashing .409/.530/.682 during that span with five homers, two steals, nine RBI and 23 runs.

Acuna went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Wednesday's win over the Mets.

The superstar right fielder led off the bottom of the first inning by taking Paul Blackburn deep, giving Chris Sale all the support he would need in a 5-0 win. Acuna has hit safely in eight straight games, batting a gobsmacking .577 (15-for-26) over that stretch with a double, four homers, a steal, seven RBI and 11 runs.

Acuna went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and three runs scored in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Colorado.

Acuna's red-hot 2025 rolled on, as he notched his fourth consecutive multi-hit game and launched his seventh home run of the season. The 2023 National League MVP didn't make his season debut until May 23 after recovering from a torn ACL, but he's been among the league's top hitters since. The superstar is slashing .387/.471/.707 with 10 extra-base hits and 13 RBI over 87 plate appearances across 20 games.

  • Braves' Ronald Acuna: Steals first bag of season

Acuna went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, two runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's win over the Rockies.

The 27-year-old superstar has been on fire at the plate since coming off the IL in late May, slashing .375/.458/.667 with six homers in 19 games, but Friday's pilfer came on his first steal attempt of the season. Acuna was expected to run less after recovering from his latest ACL surgery, but the lack of activity on the basepaths is still a disappointment for fantasy investors given that he swiped a league-leading 73 bags in 2023. With one successful steal under his belt and his knee holding up just fine post-surgery, Acuna might begin to pick up the pace and return to being one of the preeminent five-category assets in the game.

It was the star outfielder's fifth long ball over 16 games since making his season debut May 23. Acuna has yet to attempt a steal this season, which cuts into his fantasy value considerably, but he's been plenty productive at the plate with a .999 OPS through 69 plate appearances.

  • Braves' Ronald Acuna: Getting first rest of season

Acuna is out of the lineup for the first game of Thursday's doubleheader versus the Phillies.

Acuna should be back in the lineup for the nightcap, but Atlanta isn't yet ready to have him play two nine-inning games on the same day after he returned from the 15-day injured list last week. The 27-year-old has yet to attempt a stolen base through four games with Atlanta or during his six-game minor-league rehab assignment, but his surgically repaired left knee doesn't seem to be presenting any complications for him in the outfield or when he runs the bases. Acuna has also been dialed in at the plate since being activated Friday, going 5-for-16 with two home runs, a double and two walks.

Acuna followed up his season debut with a 427-foot homer to extend Atlanta's lead in the sixth inning. The 27-year-old did strike out three times, but it's encouraging to see his power return so quickly after ACL surgery. • Braves' Ronald Acuna: Homers in 2025 debut

Acuna went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Padres.

Acuna was cleared to make his 2025 debut Friday after a year-long recovery from an ACL tear in his left knee. The 2023 National League MVP returned in style, taking the first pitch he saw from Nick Pivetta deep to center field for a 467-foot solo home run, the longest homer of the season for Atlanta. Acuna added a single in the third frame and showed his fielding chops in the eighth, when he nabbed Elias Diaz trying to leg out a double. Acuna is expected to be in the starting lineup for Saturday's game but could be rested in Sunday's series finale.

  • Braves' Ronald Acuna: Activated ahead of 2025 debut

Atlanta activated Acuna (knee) from the 10-day injured list Friday.

Acuna is ready for his long-awaited 2025 debut following a long road back from ACL surgery on his left knee. The 27-year-old slashed .417/.632/.833 with one home run and a 7:2 BB:K in five rehab games with Triple-A Gwinnett to convince Atlanta he was ready to roll. Acuna will likely see some extra days off initially as the club eases him back into action, and he has indicated previously that he does not intend to be as aggressive on the basepaths as he was before the surgery -- he didn't even attempt a stolen base during his rehab stint, after going 16-for-19 on steals over 49 games in 2024 prior to getting injured.

  • Braves' Ronald Acuna: Return confirmed for Friday

Acuna (knee) will be activated from the injured list Friday and be in Atlanta's lineup against the Padres.

Acuna was scratched from Thursday's lineup with Triple-A Gwinnett, suggesting he would be back at some point during Atlanta's weekend series versus San Diego. That move has now been announced by the team, though he'll still need to be officially activated from the injured list. Acuna hit .417/.632/.833 across 19 plate appearances with Gwinnett and will be set to appear in a big-league game for the first time since May 26, 2024.
