Each night, Eye on Basketball brings you what you need to know about the games of the NBA. From great performances to terrible clock management, the report card evaluates and eviscerates the good, the bad, and the ugly from the night that was.

Dwight Howard Oh, hey. Dwight Howard remembered he's a dominant force. This was the first game of the season in which Dwight looked like he had a quick bounce off the floor and confidence to finish at the rim. He looked to bully the Bucks inside and dunk everything imaginable. He finished the game with 31 points, 16 rebounds and four blocked shots. He was completely dominant from start to finish for the Lakers. This is exactly the Dwight everybody has been looking for.
Greivis Vasquez I'm not certain that Greivis Vasquez would be my pick for Most Improved Player right now, but I know I greatly have to consider his place in the conversation. Vasquez has gone from a guy whom people questioned even belonging in the NBA to a fantastic point guard this season. His 23 points and nine assists kept the Hornets going against the Sixers and really countered Jrue Holiday's great 29-point, 11-assist effort.
Eric Bledsoe Eric Bledsoe is filling in for Chris Paul like he's the replacement for Troy Hudson. In his second straight start due to Paul's bruised knee, Bledsoe stuffed the box score with 19 points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals. He kept the Clippers out in front of Houston's offense while defending both James Harden and Jeremy Lin really well at times.
Brandon Jennings I'm sure it's harder to go to your hometown and play in front of that crowd. There's pressure to get tickets for way more people than you have tickets to give, you have to see everybody while you're home, and at some point you're going to want to hit up the old Hollywood Video just for kicks. Jennings returned to L.A. and was just abysmal. Twelve points on 4-of-14 shooting with only one assist. He can't have nights off on the road in which it looks like he's going through the motions.
Charlotte Bobcats It seems like so long ago that the Charlotte Bobcats were changing their culture, turning over new leaves and no longer completely terrible on a basketball court. Unfortunately for Charlotte, the season isn't just seven games long. They were destroyed by the Indiana Pacers at home to fall to 20 games under .500. This isn't unfamiliar territory to the Bobs, which is kind of the problem.
