New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Anthony Morrow will opt out of his contract for next season and become a free agent in July, according to Jorge Sierra of HoopsHype.

Morrow was set to make $1.15 million in 2014-2015 after signing a minimum-salary deal last summer. He will surely be looking for a raise and a multi-year contract.

Making 45.1 percent of his three-pointers last season, Morrow finished fourth in the NBA in three-point accuracy behind Kyle Korver, Pablo Prigioni and Mike Miller. He has perhaps the prettiest shot in the league, and he scored 20-plus points five times in the final few weeks of the season. Several teams will be looking for floor spacers this summer, so he should have numerous suitors.
