Martin (toe) logged a full practice Friday but remains on injured reserve and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.
Martin has logged three full practices in the lead-up to the Week 6 London game against the Jaguars, but he will need to be officially activated from injured reserve prior to Sunday's game in order to suit up. If Martin plays, he would provide edge depth for a Chicago pass rush that will be looking to generate extra pressure to make up for a depleted Bears secondary that will be without starting safety Jaquan Brisker (concussion) and likely without starting cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (calf) as well.

Martin (toe) was designated to return from injured reserve and was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's practice estimate.
Martin was placed on IR before the first game of the season and has had his 21-window to practice with the team opened. Although he'll still need to be moved to the 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars, he appears on track to be, with the Bears estimating he could have practiced in full Wednesday. Further clarity on his status for Week 6's London matchup will likely come closer to kickoff Sunday.

Bears' Jake Martin: Opening season on IR
Martin (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the Bears on Tuesday, Larry Mayer of the team's official website reports.
Martin failed to log any stats in the preseason after signing with the Bears in March, suffering an undisclosed injury at some point. The defensive lineman will now be forced to miss at least Chicago's first four games of the regular season before he'd be eligible to return Week 5 against the Panthers on Oct. 6.

Coach Nathaniel Hackett said Wednesday that Martin (knee) will go on injured reserve, ending his 2022 campaign, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Hackett sustained the knee issue during the Broncos' Week 14 loss to Kansas City and will miss the final four games of the regular season after being placed on injured reserve. The fifth-year linebacker made 13 total appearances (five with Denver and eight with the Jets) during the 2022 campaign and complied 14 tackles, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble.

Broncos' Jacob Martin: Headed to Mile High City
The Jets traded Martin to Denver on Tuesday along with a 2024 fifth-round pick in exchange for 2024 fourth-round pick, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
After sending star edge-rusher Bradley Chubb to Miami at the trade deadline, the Broncos are scrambling to find fill-in reps at the position. Until Baron Browning and Randy Gregory return from injuries, Martin could actually see a significant role in Denver's defense right away.

Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports that Martin, along with Maliek Collins and Derek Rivers, all tested positive for the virus.
