Ambry Thomas: Gets look from Minnesota
The Vikings signed Thomas (forearm) to their practice squad Tuesday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports.
Thomas suffered a fractured forearm in training camp and was waived from the 49ers' injured reserve Dec. 17. He was claimed by Indianapolis two days later but didn't end up with the organization due to a failed physical. However, Thomas appears to now be healthy, and he'll look to impress the playoff-bound Vikings during his time on their practice squad.

Ambry Thomas: Fails physical
The Colts failed Thomas' (forearm) physical Thursday after having claimed him off waivers from the 49ers on Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.
Thomas hasn't yet fully healed from the forearm fracture he suffered during training camp, so he won't join Indianapolis' 53-man roster. The fourth-year pro will look to get fully healthy and then search for another opportunity to sign with a team.

The Colts claimed Thomas (forearm) off waivers from the 49ers on Wednesday, Joel Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Thomas has been on injured reserve for the entire regular season after he broke his forearm in a preseason game against the Titans in August. He was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, but he has quickly found a new home with the Colts and will provide depth in the secondary.

The 49ers placed Thomas (forearm) on injured reserve Wednesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Thomas is underwent surgery to repair his right forearm, which he broke during the 49ers' preseason opener against the Titans. It's unclear when he'll be cleared to return to practice, but Thomas will be forced to miss at least the first four games of the regular season while on IR. The earliest he can return is Week 5 against the Cardinals on Oct. 6.

Thomas will undergo surgery to repair his broken right forearm, Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official site reports.
Thomas broke his right forearm in the first half of Saturday's preseason loss against the Titans. The recovery from his surgery will keep the 2021 third-round pick sidelined for multiple weeks. With Thomas on the shelf, the 49ers will try out Renardo Green, Samuel Womack and Rock Ya-Sin to serve as the second starting corner opposite Charvarius Ward.
