Haniger left Tuesday's game against the Cardinals after being hit by a pitch, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports. He went 0-for-1 with the HBP before exiting.
Haniger was replaced on base by Casey Schmitt. Until the Giants provide further updates on Haniger's status, he should be considered day-to-day.
