Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Homers in Sunday's win
Crawford went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Marlins.
Crawford had a deep blast to right-center field in the fifth to extend the Mariners' lead and ultimately give them just enough runs to put away the Marlins. Crawford now has at least a hit in seven straight games and multiple hits four times in his last six contests. He's also hit safely in 13-of-15 games since April 9. For the season, the 30-year-old is slashing .277/.412/.373 with two homers, 12 RBI, 15 runs and an 18:21 BB:K in 104 plate appearances.

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Belts first homer of year
Crawford went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's 8-5 win over the Red Sox.
His three-run homer off Sean Newcomb in the fourth inning was the big blow on the night for the M's. It was Crawford's first long ball of the season, continuing a hot stretch that has seen the shortstop bat .351 (13-for-37) over his last 11 games with seven runs and 10 RBI.

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Production picking up recently
Crawford went 1-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in Saturday's extra-inning win over Toronto.
Crawford has started each of Seattle's first 21 games of the season, and his offensive production has picked up recently. The veteran shortstop is hitting .310 (9-for-29) with two doubles, four RBI and six runs scored over his last nine outings, and he ranks among MLB's leaders in walks (15) on the campaign. The Mariners have a void at the top of their lineup while Victor Robles (shoulder) is sidelined, and Crawford's on-base skills could allow him to see some at-bats in the leadoff spot at some point this year.

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Feeling healthy entering new season
Crawford is batting just .214 with one home run and two RBI over 28 at-bats in the Cactus League, but he enters the 2025 season with a clean bill of health, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
Following an injury-plagued season that saw him deal with an oblique strain and a fractured hand, Crawford is looking to put his tough 2024 campaign behind him. "I couldn't get in a rhythm and every time I started to hit good, those injuries popped up," Crawford said this past Monday. "It pretty much hurt every time I swung the bat." However, the 30-year-old infielder believes he's "in a great spot" health-wise this spring, and he's set to reprise his role as Seattle's everyday shortstop after hitting a career-low .202 across just 105 games last season.

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Wraps season with multi-hit effort
Crawford went 2-for-3 with a run in a win over the Athletics on Sunday.
Crawford posted one of two multi-hit efforts for the Mariners in the regular-season finale, ending what has been a tough campaign for him on a good note. The pair of knocks coaxed Crawford's batting average back over the Mendoza Line to .202, but all three components of his final batting line -- he also generated a .304 OBP and .321 slugging percentage -- qualified as career lows. The 29-year-old shortstop has been a fixture in Seattle since 2019 and is signed through the 2026 campaign, but he'll presumably need a notable uptick in production to hold on to his starting spot for another full season.

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Laces triple in big win
Crawford went 2-for-4 with a triple and a run in a win over the Rangers on Saturday.
Crawford laced only his second three-bagger since the 2022 season as part of his third multi-hit effort during what is turning into a serviceable September. The veteran is hitting a modest .238 across 74 plate appearances this month, yet he boasts an impressive .351 on-base percentage thanks in part to his 12.2 percent walk rate in that same span. Crawford still has just a .205 batting average on the season, but that is an improved figure after his recent stretch of solid production.

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Back over Mendoza Line
Crawford went 2-for-3 with a run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.
Working out of the bottom of the order, Crawford provided one of four multi-hit efforts for the Mariners on the afternoon, and in the process, lifted his season batting average over .200 (.201) for the first time since Aug. 28. However, while he's shown some signs of life at the plate recently by hitting .280 (7-for-25) over his last seven games, Crawford remains mired in a power drought that's now seen him go 20 games without a home run.

Crawford delivered the final runs of the night for the Mariners with his sixth-inning double, which brought home Luke Raley and Justin Turner.
