  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Plays 22 minutes in Game 7

Westbrook had six points (2-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt), five rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes during Sunday's 125-93 loss to the Thunder in Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Westbrook played through a right hand sprain Sunday but had another disappointing showing. In his last four postseason games, Westbrook averaged just 6.0 points while shooting 23.5 percent from the field. He did have a productive regular season, however, as he appeared in 75 games with 13.3 points, 6.1 assists, 4.9 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.3 three-pointers on 44.9 percent from the field. As for 2025-26, Westbrook holds a $3.47 million player option.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Getting green light for Game 7

Westbrook (hand) is available for Sunday's Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Thunder. As expected, Westbrook has been upgraded from probable to available. After playing at least 20 minutes in eight straight playoff contests, Westbrook saw only 17 in Denver's comeback win in Game 6. Aaron Gordon (hamstring) will also suit up for Game 7 but is dealing with a fairly significant injury, so if he's not 100 percent and faces restrictions, Westbrook would be a candidate for increased usage.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Likely to play Sunday

Westbrook is probable for Sunday's Game 7 against the Thunder due to a right hand sprain. Westbrook was limited to 17 minutes off the bench in the Game 6 victory Thursday. Still, even if the veteran floor general landed on the injury report, the probable tag suggests he should be able to suit up. The Nuggets need him to be at his best Sunday, especially if Aaron Gordon (hamstring) ends up being ruled out.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Plays minimal role in Game 6

Westbrook recorded eight points (3-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds and one block over 17 minutes during Thursday's 119-107 win over the Thunder in Game 6 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Westbrook has comfortably led the Denver second unit in minutes played during the playoffs, but he's had his struggles recently, and the team turned to Julian Strawther, who responded with 15 points in 20 minutes. Jamal Murray played through an illness, Aaron Gordon may have tweaked his hamstring and Michael Porter continues to push through his shoulder issue, so the Nuggets will be hoping that Westbrook can turn things around quickly.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Held in check

Westbrook ended with four points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 20 minutes during Tuesday's 112-105 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals. After starting this series with a couple of strong games, Westbrook has struggled mightily in three straight outings. He went a combined 6-for-27 from the field in that span, averaging 6.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 three-pointers. He continues to comfortably lead all reserves in minutes played, however.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Lackluster outing in Game 5 defeat

Westbrook produced four points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 20 minutes during Tuesday's 112-105 loss to the Thunder in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Westbrook posted his third consecutive contest with single-digit points in the loss, and he has shot only 22.2 percent from the field during that span. The veteran guard did lead the Nuggets' bench in scoring, though Denver's second unit combined for just 10 points Tuesday. Westbrook has averaged 11.0 points, 3.0 assists and 2.2 rebounds across 24.2 minutes per game in the Western Conference Semifinals.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Struggles in loss

Westbrook posted six points (2-12 FG, 2-9 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 27 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 92-87 loss to the Thunder in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Westbrook couldn't get going offensively in Sunday's game, as he hit only two of his 12 field-goal attempts and fouled out in the fourth quarter. The one-time NBA MVP failed to crack double digits in the scoring department for the third time during these NBA playoffs.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Leading scorer in Game 2 loss

Westbrook amassed 19 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-10 FT), one rebound and five assists across 22 minutes during Wednesday's 149-106 loss to the Thunder in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals. The likes of Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic struggled badly in this Game 2 loss, and while it would be a stretch to say Westbrook stepped up, he did end as the team's leading scorer. Westbrook has scored in double digits off the bench in all but one of his eight playoff showings thus far and has surpassed the 15-point mark in his last three.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Notches 18 points

Westbrook ended with 18 points (7-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-5 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes during Monday's 121-119 win over the Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Although he had an underwhelming stat line outside of scoring, Westbrook continues to see heavy involvement off the bench. The Nuggets are using an extremely tight rotation, and the only other bench players to see minutes were Peyton Watson (15) and Julian Strawther (6). Through seven postseason games, Westbrook is averaging 14.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.0 three-pointers.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Season-high five steals in win

Westbrook finished with 16 points (5-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, five assists and five steals over 27 minutes during Saturday's 120-101 win over the Clippers in Game 7 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Westbrook was impactful once again, helping the Nuggets to a comfortable Game 7 victory while helping to oust his former team at the same time. Denver will now face Oklahoma City, another of Westbrook's former teams, in the second round. Starting the series as the firm underdogs, the Nuggets will face an uphill battle up against the best team in the league this season.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Double-doubles in Game 6 loss

Westbrook closed Thursday's 111-105 loss to the Clippers in Game 6 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 14 points (5-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds and six assists in 35 minutes. Westbrook recorded his first double-double since April 2, albeit in a losing effort. The veteran guard also led the Nuggets in rebounds while pacing the second unit in scoring. Westbrook has made two appearances since his one-game absence due to left foot inflammation. He has amassed 35 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists across 60 minutes during that two-game span.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Scores 21 points in return

Westbrook registered 21 points (8-15 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one assist across 25 minutes during Tuesday's 131-115 win over the Clippers in Game 5 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Westbrook returned from a one-game absence as a result of a foot injury, scoring 21 points as Denver blew out Los Angeles. Despite the strong offensive showing, Westbrook was noticeably quiet in other areas, which is somewhat of an anomaly given his tendency to contribute across the board. Look for Westbrook to build on this performance when the two teams meet again Thursday.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Set to play in Game 5

Westbrook (foot) is available for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Clippers. Westbrook has been upgraded from questionable to available Tuesday after missing Game 4 due to left foot inflammation. Westbrook has averaged 10.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 22.0 minutes across his three appearances in the playoffs so far this season.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Iffy for Tuesday

Westbrook (foot) is questionable for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Clippers. The veteran guard continues to nurse left foot inflammation, which leaves his status uncertain for Tuesday after sitting out Saturday's Game 4 against Los Angeles. The Nuggets would lean heavily on Christian Braun if Westbrook needs to miss another contest, and Peyton Watson would pick up a few extra minutes off the bench in that case.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Won't play Saturday

Westbrook (foot) is out for Saturday's Game 4 against the Clippers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Westbrook didn't play in the second half of Thursday's Game 3 loss to the Clippers due to left foot inflammation, and the veteran guard will end up missing Saturday's contest. His next chance to play will come Tuesday in Game 5, and the likes of Jalen Pickett and Julian Strawther could see expanded roles off the bench with Westbrook out.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Questionable for Saturday

Westbrook (foot) is listed questionable Saturday for Game 4 of the Nuggets' first-round playoff matchup with the Clippers, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports. Westbrook didn't play in the second half of Thursday's Game 3 loss to the Clippers due to left foot inflammation and is in jeopardy of missing Game 4. If the veteran guard is sidelined Saturday, Jalen Pickett and Julian Strawther could see expanded roles off the bench.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Won't return Thursday

Westbrook (foot) won't return for the second half of Thursday's Game 3 matchup with the Clippers, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports. Westbrook recorded three points (1-5 FG, 1-5 3Pt), one assist and one rebound across nine minutes in the first half before leaving with left foot inflammation. With Westbrook shut down for the rest of the night, Jalen Pickett could serve as the primary backup option at point guard when Jamal Murray is off the floor.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Questionable to return Thursday

Westbrook is questionable to return during Thursday's Game 3 against the Clippers due to left foot inflammation. The foot injury is a new concern for Westbrook, who played nine minutes in the first half. If the veteran guard is unable to return, Jalen Pickett could see a slight bump in minutes the rest of the way.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Another mixed bag in Game 2 loss

Westbrook racked up 14 points (5-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 23 minutes during Monday's 105-102 loss to the Clippers in Game 2 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs. Westbrook continues to serve up a mixed bag when it comes to production, reflective of what he has done for the Nuggets throughout the season. Despite coming off the bench, he has closed in both games of the playoffs thus far, albeit replacing different players. The Nuggets will now need to win at least one game in Los Angeles should they hope to extend their season beyond round one.

  • Nuggets' Russell Westbrook: Bounces back off bench

Westbrook provided 16 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 24 minutes during Sunday's 125-120 loss to the Pacers. Westbrook's final stat line didn't help Denver secure the victory, but there's no question this was a bounce-back effort for the veteran floor general, who had been heavily criticized in recent games. Despite the recent criticism and a few subpar performances, Westbrook is averaging 16.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game over his last five outings, which all came with Jamal Murray (hamstring) sidelined.
