Henrique scored a goal and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Blackhawks. Henrique has three goals over his last three games. He has added just four shots on net in that span, so this doesn't look to be a sustainable burst of offense, but it's encouraging he's getting some reward for his effort. The 34-year-old center has a modest 13 points with 64 shots on net, 42 blocked shots, 25 hits and a plus-2 rating over 42 appearances this season.... See More ... See Less

Oilers' Adam Henrique: Two-goal outburst keys win
Henrique scored two goals Tuesday in a 4-0 win over Boston. He put the Oil up 1-0 early in the first when Corey Perry found him in the slot for a quick-release wrist shot past Jeremy Swayman's glove. Henrique put the Oilers up 3-0 from the top of the right circle with a snap shot far side. His points come few and far between -- Henrique has points (three goals) in just two of his last 13 games (17 shots), and he has 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 40 appearances this campaign. Nice outing, but he's better left on the wire.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Scores in Sunday's win
Henrique scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Senators. The goal was Henrique's first since Nov. 16 versus the Maple Leafs. It also ended a seven-game point drought for the center, who has struggled to produce consistent offense in a third-line role this season. He's at 10 points, 56 shots on net, 33 blocked shots, 22 hits and a plus-5 rating through 34 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Bags pair of apples
Henrique logged two assists, including one on the power play, in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets. Henrique helped out on second-period tallies by Mattias Ekholm and Jeff Skinner. With six helpers over his last seven contests, Henrique has been effective from his third-line role. His power-play helper Thursday was his first contribution with the man advantage this season. The center has nine points, 43 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 19 hits and a plus-4 rating over 26 appearances. He's also shooting just 4.7 percent, so Henrique could rebound once some of his shots start going in.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Puts up assist Saturday
Henrique notched an assist, four shots on goal, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Avalanche. Henrique has a helper in four of the last five contests, his first stretch of somewhat steady offense this season. The 34-year-old center is up to seven points, 41 shots on net, 24 blocked shots, 19 hits, eight PIM and a plus-4 rating through 24 appearances. He's in a third-line role with a small power-play share on the second unit, so Henrique will need to be consistent with non-scoring production and 5-on-5 offense to make himself a fantasy consideration.... Oilers' Adam Henrique: Helpers in three straight contests
Henrique notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Rangers. Henrique helped out on Evan Bouchard's tally in the second period. The 34-year-old Henrique has contributed an assist in three straight games and has five points over his last eight outings. For the season, the veteran center has six points, 35 shots on net, 23 blocked shots, 18 hits and a plus-1 rating over 22 appearances in a third-line role.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Records assist in loss
Henrique notched an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Wild. Henrique has a goal and three assists over his last seven contests. It's moderate production, but it beats the 10-game slump that came before. The 34-year-old center has five points, 33 shots on net, 17 hits, 22 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 21 appearances. Henrique is locked into a third-line role, so his offense is likely to remain uninspiring for large portions of the campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Tickles twine in overtime loss
Henrique scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs. The goal was Henrique's second of the campaign, with his other coming back on Oct. 15 versus the Flyers. The 34-year-old center has two points over his last four contests, but his third-line role hasn't been conducive to generating consistent offense. He's at three points, 28 shots, 16 hits, 16 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 18 outings this season.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Grabs helper in win
Henrique notched an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks. Henrique has had an ice-cold start to the season with just two points through 15 contests. He's playing in a third-line role, though he was on the wing Saturday after mainly serving as a center. The 34-year-old has 19 shots on net, 16 hits, 15 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating this season. Without more offense, Henrique is not a player fantasy managers need to consider at this stage, though his defensive work will help him maintain a regular spot in the lineup.... See More ... Oilers' Adam Henrique: Buries goal Tuesday
Henrique scored a goal on five shots, added two hits, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flyers. Henrique got on the scoresheet for the first time this year at 6:26 of the second period. The center has played exclusively on the third line while lacking power-play minutes, so his offense is likely to be limited in 2024-25. He's added nine shots on net, four hits and four blocked shots. Henrique can contribute in non-scoring categories, but he's unlikely to do much better than a 40-point season -- given the depth of the center position, he's far from a must-have for fantasy managers.... Oilers' Adam Henrique: Re-ups with Edmonton
Henrique signed a two-year, $3 million AAV deal with the Oilers on Monday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports. Henrique scored 24 goals and 51 points in 82 total regular-season games with the Ducks and Oilers last season. He also added seven points in 17 playoff contests. The veteran forward figures to slot in as Edmonton's third-line center behind Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Henrique scored 65 goals in 202 games over the last three years.... See More ... Oilers' Adam Henrique: Tallies in Game 6 win
Henrique scored a goal, went plus-2, added two hits and blocked two shots in Friday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 6. Henrique has three points over his last four games -- he's helped the Oilers pull back from a 3-0 deficit in the series. The forward remains in a third-line role with minimal power-play time, but he's been effective as a two-way skater during the playoffs. For the postseason, he's picked up seven points, 12 shots on net and 50 hits over 16 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Lights lamp in Game 4
Henrique scored a goal, doled out five hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 8-1 win over the Panthers in Game 4. Henrique's tally at 7:48 of the first period ended up being the game-winner in the blowout. The 34-year-old has a point in each of the last two contests, and he's up to six points, nine shots on net, 48 hits and a plus-1 rating through 14 playoff outings. Henrique is likely to remain in a third-line role for the remainder of the Stanley Cup Finals, as head coach Kris Knoblauch likely won't adjust the lineup much if the Oilers keep winning.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Pockets helper in loss
Henrique registered an assist and five hits in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Panthers in Game 3. Henrique has struggled to make an impact this postseason, earning five points, eight shots on net, 43 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 13 contests. He missed time with an ankle injury and has often been stuck on the third line when healthy. Given the Oilers have lost three straight games, he could get moved into a top-six role for Game 4 on Saturday, but he's unlikely to see enough ice time to make him an intriguing option for DFS.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Garners assist
Henrique recorded an assist in Friday's 3-1 win over the Stars in Game 5. Henrique has a goal and an assist over three games since he returned from an ankle injury. The 34-year-old forward is up to four points, seven shots on net, 30 hits and an even plus-minus rating through nine playoff appearances. The Oilers have found success with him on the third line, so it's unlikely his role will change heading into Game 6 on Sunday.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Scores in return
Henrique scored a goal and added four hits in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Stars in Game 3. Henrique missed seven games with an ankle injury and returned to a third-line role, playing 13:41 in this contest. He scored a goal late in the second period to tie the game at 3-3, but the Oilers' offense stopped there. Henrique has three points, five shots on net, 26 hits and an even plus-minus rating through seven playoff appearances. He's played in a variety of spots in the Oilers' lineup -- if the team continues to struggle, he may be moved from third-line center to a top-six spot on the wing.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Good to go Monday
Henrique (ankle) will play Monday in Game 3 against Dallas, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports. Following a seven-game absence, Henrique will replace Ryan McLeod in the lineup for Monday's contest. The 34-year-old Henrique has generated one goal, one assist, four shots on net and 22 hits in six appearances this postseason. He will probably occupy a middle-six spot and see power-play time on the second unit in his return to action.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Close to return
Henrique (ankle) is very close to being available to return to the lineup, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports. The Oilers hope to have Henrique back in action against Dallas for Monday's Game 3 or Game 4 on Wednesday. Henrique participated in pregame warmups before missing his seventh straight contest in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Stars in Game 2. He has registered one goal, one assist, four shots on net and 22 hits in six appearances this postseason. The 34-year-old forward will probably occupy a middle-six role and see time on the second power-play unit once he receives the green light to return.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Unavailable Saturday
Henrique (ankle) isn't expected to play in Game 2 against Dallas on Saturday, Kurt Leavins of the Edmonton Journal reports. Henrique participated in pregame warmups but wasn't involved in line rushes. That suggests he is likely close to returning despite not being quite ready yet. The 34-year-old forward has a goal and an assist in six contests this playoffs. Henrique might receive a middle-six spot and have a role on the power play once he's healthy.... See More ... Oilers' Adam Henrique: Game-time call
Henrique (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Game 2 against Dallas on Saturday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet. Henrique, who missed the last six games, participated in Saturday morning's skate. He has produced one goal, one assist, four shots on net and 22 hits in six outings this postseason. If Henrique receives clearance to play, the 34-year-old forward could occupy a middle-six role and see time on the second power-play unit.... See More ... See Less
