  • Avalanche's Jonathan Drouin: Adds power-play helper

Drouin logged a power-play assist in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime loss to the Stars in Game 6.

Drouin had a helper in all three of his playoff appearances, including two on the power play. The 29-year-old missed the first eight games of the postseason with a lower-body injury, but that was his only extended absence of the campaign. Drouin had a career-high 56 points in 79 regular-season outings while playing on a one-year, $825,000 contract. It's safe to assume his next deal will be at a higher cap hit, though it's unclear if the Avalanche will have the space to bring him back in 2024-25. If not, he should have a significant audience in free agency.

  • Cale Makar D | COL

Avalanche's Cale Makar: Garners power-play helper

Makar logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime loss to the Stars in Game 6.

Makar finished the postseason with five goals, 10 assists, 36 shots on net and 23 blocks over 11 contests. The 25-year-old defenseman also had a career-high 90 points in 77 regular-season outings. Makar's brilliance on the blue line remains elite, and he's a finalist for the Norris Trophy once again after a stellar campaign. Makar should continue to be a top-three fantasy defenseman in 2024-25 with an Avalanche team that will have its core intact despite going into the offseason with nine pending unrestricted free agents among the team's skaters.

  • Mikko Rantanen RW | COL

Avalanche's Mikko Rantanen: Nets power-play goal in loss

Rantanen scored a power-play goal on five shots, added two hits and went minus-2 in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime loss to the Stars in Game 6.

Rantanen opened the scoring in the second period, but Jake Oettinger slammed the door for the rest of the game. With four goals and 10 assists over 11 playoff outings, Rantanen was his usual productive self in the playoffs, but the Avalanche will go no further. The 27-year-old has earned back-to-back 100-point campaigns and could take his offense even higher in 2024-25, which is his contract year.

  • Avalanche's Alexandar Georgiev: Takes double-overtime loss

Georgiev allowed two goals on 38 shots in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime loss to the Stars in Game 6.

The Avalanche caught a break in the first overtime when a potential Stars goal was overturned for goaltender interference. There would be no rescue for Georgiev after Matt Duchene came back to haunt one of his former teams with a tally 11:42 into the second overtime. Georgiev went 6-5 with a 2.85 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 11 playoff contests, numbers roughly in line with his regular-season performance. After playing 143 games between the regular season and playoffs over the last two years, the Avalanche may be motivated to make sure the 28-year-old sees a smaller workload in 2024-25, though he should still be the primary starter entering the final year of his current contract.

  • Stars' Evgenii Dadonov: Collects assist in Game 6

Dadonov notched an assist, two shots on goal and four blocked shots in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6.

Dadonov has turned up the offense with three points and eight shots on net over his last four outings. The winger set up Jamie Benn's game-tying goal early in the third period. Dadonov is up to six points, 16 shots, 14 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through 13 playoff appearances. Heading into the Western Conference Finals, the 35-year-old should be expected to remain in a third-line role.

  • Tyler Seguin C | DAL

Stars' Tyler Seguin: Slings helper Friday

Seguin logged an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6.

Seguin appeared to be injured late in Wednesday's Game 5, but he was deemed fine a day later. The 32-year-old helped out on a Jamie Benn equalizer in the third period of Game 6. Through 13 playoff outings, Seguin has eight points, 39 shots on net, 18 hits and a plus-7 rating while filling a middle-six role.

  • Joe Pavelski C | DAL

Stars' Joe Pavelski: Sets up game-winner

Pavelski recorded an assist, two shots on goal and five hits in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6.

Pavelski was able to poke the puck free from the skates of several Avalanche players in front of the net, and Matt Duchene buried the shot amid the chaos for the series-clinching goal. All four of Pavelski's points this postseason have been collected in the second round, three of which have come over the last two contests. The 39-year-old has added 19 shots on net, 28 hits and a minus-1 rating over 13 playoff outings. If he's able to carry his recent momentum into the Western Conference Finals, the Stars could add another dynamic to their deep offense.

  • Jamie Benn LW | DAL

Stars' Jamie Benn: Nets equalizer Friday

Benn scored a goal on five shots and added three hits in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6.

Benn had been held off the scoresheet in the last two games but snapped that brief slump with a third-period tally Friday, tying the game at 1-1. The captain has three goals, five assists, 27 shots on net, 39 hits and a plus-1 rating over 13 playoff appearances while filling a middle-six role. Benn hasn't gone more than two contests without a point since a four-game stretch from Feb. 10-17.

  • Matt Duchene C | DAL

Stars' Matt Duchene: Clinches series win

Duchene scored the game-winning goal in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6.

Duchene was called for goaltender interference on a potential game-winner in the first overtime. That didn't dissuade him from sticking near the net, and he converted 11:42 into the second extra session after the puck popped loose from a scrum in front of the net. Through 13 playoff contests, Duchene has two goals, six points, 18 shots on net, 16 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. He is filling in on a line with Jason Robertson and Joe Pavelski while Roope Hintz (upper body) recovers from an upper-body injury.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Seals series in double overtime

Oettinger stopped 29 of 30 shots in Friday's 2-1 double-overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 6.

Oettinger was tagged for five goals on 27 shots in Game 5, but he bounced back in a big way to secure the series win Friday. This was the fifth time in 13 contests that he's limited an opponent to a single goal. Oettinger also hasn't lost consecutive games since his first two outings in the first round. He's locked in as the Stars' starter as they await the winner of the Canucks-Oilers series to join them in the Western Conference Finals.
