Titans' Tony Pollard: Totals 22 carries in Week 18
Rotowire
Pollard rushed the ball 22 times for 62 yards in Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Texans.
Pollard returned from a one-game absence caused by an ankle issue and illness and handled a workhorse role out of the Tennessee backfield. He struggled to get going, however, as 11 of his carries went for one yard or fewer. Pollard concludes his first season with the Titans with a career-high 1,079 rushing yards and should be back as the team's lead back in 2025 -- potentially in an improved offense.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Suiting up as expected
Rotowire
Pollard (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Pollard was sidelined for Week 17 due to a combination of an ankle injury and illness. However, he'll be back in action after logging two limited practices during the week, and he should have a clear path to a significant workload with Tyjae Spears (concussion) sidelined. Per Turron Davenport of ESPN, Pollard needs 83 rushing yards to earn $250,000 in incentives and he could earn an additional $200,000 if he finds the end zone twice. That will give him plenty to play for despite the Titans being out of playoff contention.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Game-time decision after DNP
Rotowire
Pollard (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Texans and will be a game-time decision, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Pollard didn't practice Friday after posting limited sessions Wednesday and Thursday as he attempts to work his way back from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury. Tyjae Spears started in Pollard's place against the Jaguars in Week 17, but Spears suffered a concussion that will keep him out of Sunday's season finale. Julius Chestnut and Joshua Kelley are the remaining healthy running backs on Tennessee's active roster, with Jabari Small on the team's practice squad.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Limited in practice
Rotowire
Pollard was listed as a limited participant during Tennessee's walk-through practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Tyjae Spears (concussion) is unlikely to play Week 18 against the Texans, though head coach Brian Callahan suggested that Pollard has a greater chance to suiting up in Sunday's season finale. Callahan mentioned Wednesday that Pollard hopes to return after missing Week 17, with the running back having some added motivation in the form of $250,000 incentives for 1,100 rushing yards or seven rushing touchdowns. Pollard has amassed 1,017 yards and five scores on the ground in 15 games, with his average of 4.3 yards per carry being impressive in light of the dismal state of Tennessee's offense.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Could return for Week 18
Rotowire
Pollard (ankle/illness) might play Sunday against Houston, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Pollard missed Sunday's loss to Jacksonville due to both an ankle injury and the flu. Tyjae Spears took over as the Titans' starting RB for the contest, but he suffered a concussion in the third quarter and is uncertain to be able to suit up Week 18. Though Tennessee has long been eliminated from playoff contention, Pollard could return to action for the season finale. However, if both Pollard and Spears don't suit up, the Titans backfield could be led by Julius Chestnut and Joshua Kelley.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Sunday status cloudy
Rotowire
Pollard, who was previously listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars with an ankle injury, is also dealing with the flu, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Per Fowler, Pollard -- who had planned to play through his ankle issue -- isn't expected to travel with the Titans on Saturday. If he's deemed unable to play Sunday, Tyjae Spears would be in line to see an expanded role in the team's Week 17 backfield.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Not spotted Friday
Rotowire
Pollard (ankle) wasn't seen at practice Friday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Pollard will finish Week 17 preparations without logging any practice reps, but Friday's injury report will reveal whether he has a chance to suit up regardless Sunday against the Jaguars. He played against the Colts in Week 16 despite logging three DNPs in practice, but Pollard was limited to a 39 percent snap share. If Pollard's sidelined or limited, Tyjae Spears -- who has four touchdowns in the last two games -- would stand to benefit.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Sidelined for another practice
Rotowire
Pollard (ankle) wasn't spotted on the field for Thursday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Pollard will go down as a non-participant for the seventh time on the Titans' last eight practice reports, but the running back has yet to miss a game. However, after sitting out all three of the Titans' sessions last week before taking a questionable tag into the weekend, Pollard played a season-low 40 percent of the offensive snaps in a 38-30 loss to the Colts. Even if Pollard is able to suit up again this Sunday in Jacksonville, he could once again find himself in a timeshare out of the backfield with Tyjae Spears, who played the other 60 percent of snaps last week and scored two touchdowns while accounting for 66 yards from scrimmage on 13 touches (10 carries, three receptions).

Titans' Tony Pollard: Loses work to Spears
Rotowire
Pollard rushed eight times for 35 yards and brought in two of four targets for five yards in the Titans' 38-30 loss to the Colts on Sunday. He also had a two-point conversion rush.
Pollard was ultimately the more efficient on the ground between him and backfield mate Tyjae Spears, but the latter recorded two rushing touchdowns while also logging two additional carries and one more target. Pollard did post a scoring run when he punched in a two-point conversion after Spears' first touchdown late in the third quarter, but he's now recorded under 50 rushing yards in five of the last seven games while also dealing with a nagging ankle injury. The division of labor in the Titans' backfield is an unwelcome open question for fantasy managers heading into championship weekend in many leagues, and Tennessee will visit the Jaguars next Sunday.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Held out of practice
Rotowire
Pollard (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Pollard has played through foot and/or ankle injuries for the better part of two months, including last week when he was listed as questionable and then briefly left a 37-27 loss to the Bengals in the first half after aggravating his ankle. He returned to the game and took 10 more carries for 18 yards to finish with a 17-45-1 rushing line, but Tyjae Spears then dominated the playing time and touches in the fourth quarter with Tennessee trailing by multiple scores. Pollard is at some risk of either missing Sunday's game against the Colts or handling a lesser role than what he's been tasked with for most of the season.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Inconsistent showing against Cincy
Rotowire
Pollard rushed the ball 17 times for 45 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 37-27 loss to the Bengals. He was not targeted in the passing game.
Pollard got off to a strong start, as he accounted for 22 yards and a touchdown on the Titans' opening possession. Things got rocky from there, however. In addition to briefly leaving the game due to ankle injury, Pollard also lost a fumble that should have been returned for a touchdown before Jordan Battle fumbled out of the end zone. Positively, Pollard remains the clear lead back and has shown the ability to excel on the ground despite the poor state of the Tennessee offense.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Hurts ankle Sunday
Rotowire
Pollard was forced out of Sunday's game against the Bengals with an ankle injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Prior to his exit from the contest, Pollard carried seven times for 27 yards and a TD. In his absence, Tyjae Spears is next in line to handle the Titans' Week 15 carries.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Ready to face Cincinnati
Rotowire
Pollard (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Pollard was officially listed as questionable for the matchup after his only practice participation was a limited session Friday. However, he'll suit up and presumably lead the Tennessee backfield in a matchup against a Cincinnati defensive line that has struggled in the absence of Sheldon Rankins (illness). Meanwhile, Pollard has topped 100 yards from scrimmage in three of the Titans' last six games.

Titans' Tony Pollard: RBs to Start
Rotowire
Pollard had another solid outing in Week 14 against Jacksonville with 21 carries for 102 yards and two catches for 22 yards on two targets, and he's now scored at least 14.4 PPR points in all nine games where he got at least 19 total touches. He should have another big workload against the Bengals, who have allowed a running back to score at least 14.1 PPR points in four games in a row. And in the past two games without linebacker Logan Wilson (knee), Najee Harris and Rico Dowdle have combined for 40 PPR points.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Not spotted early on in practice
Rotowire
Pollard (ankle) wasn't present during the open portion of Friday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Pollard didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, so his absence from the initial stage of Friday's session is noteworthy. The Titans' upcoming injury report will reveal his designation for Sunday's game against the Bengals, but if Pollard is limited or out this weekend, Tyjae Spears would be in line for added touches in Week 15.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Absent for another practice
Rotowire
Pollard (ankle) isn't practicing Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Pollard has now sat out both of the Titans' first two Week 15 practices, making his activity (or lack thereof) in Friday's session important with respect to determining his status for Sunday's game against the Bengals. The 27-year-old has suited up in all 13 of the Titans' contest to date, but if Pollard is forced to miss his first game of the season Sunday, Tyjae Spears would likely have a path to double-digit touches out of the backfield.

Titans' Tony Pollard: RBs to Start
Rotowire
Pollard only scored 8.8 PPR points in Week 13 at Washington, and he's been held to 10.3 PPR points or less in three of his past four games. I still trust him in Week 14 against Jacksonville as a must-start running back in all leagues based on the matchup. The Jaguars are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, and in their past four games, Jacksonville has allowed 119 carries for 587 yards and five touchdowns and 16 catches for 156 yards and a touchdown to opposing backfields. Saquon Barkley, Aaron Jones, David Montgomery, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Joe Mixon have all scored at least 12.1 PPR points against the Jaguars, and Pollard should follow suit in Week 14.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Contrarian DFS Play
Rotowire
I think people will see Pollard's poor performance in Week 13 and think it was because Tyjae Spears was back. Spears only played 25% of the offensive snaps. Pollard just ran into a terrible game script. I wouldn't expect that in Week 14 against Mac Jones and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Titans are home favorites against one of the worst defenses in the league. That should make Pollard chalk, but it won't due to his bad game last week.

Titans' Tony Pollard: RBs to Start
Rotowire
Tyjae Spears (concussion) could return in Week 13 at Washington, but I still like Pollard as a No. 2 running back in all leagues. He was amazing in Week 12 at Houston with 21.9 PPR points, which ended a two-game slump where he scored a combined 15.2 PPR points against the Chargers and Vikings. Washington has allowed five running backs to score at least 11.3 PPR points in the past five games, including D'Andre Swift and Saquon Barkley, each scoring at least 18.9 PPR points over that span. Pollard may lose some work to Spears, but Pollard still has the upside to be a top-15 Fantasy running back in all leagues.

Titans' Tony Pollard: Big effort in upset win
Rotowire
Pollard rushed the ball 24 times for 119 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-27 win over the Texans. He added three receptions on five targets for 10 yards.
Pollard's volume jumped in the absence of Tyjae Spears (concussion) to tally at least 20 rushing attempts for the fourth time this season. He was perfectly capable of shouldering that workload, ripping off long gains of 27 and 19 yards while also finding the end zone from 10 yards out early in the second quarter. That was enough for Pollard to reach 100 yards on the ground for the second time this season, and he will be a must-start fantasy option in Week 13 against Washington if Spears remains sidelined.
