Chargers' Shalom Luani: Joins Chargers
Luani was signed to the active roster Saturday.
Roderic Teamer (groin), who has been forced to start with injuries to Derwin James (foot) and Adrian Phillips (forearm), is currently listed as doubtful, leaving just Rayshawn Jenkins and Jaylen Watkins as the only two healthy safeties to have played a single down with the team this season. As a result, Luani might be forced into significant playing time Sunday against the Packers.

Seahawks' Shalom Luani: Remains in Seattle
Luani signed his exclusive rights free agent tender with the Seahawks on Monday, Josh Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Luani played primarily in a special teams role for the Seahawks last season, contributing nine tackles (seven solo) across 12 games. With Bradley McDougald firmly holding down the starting free safety role, Luani will have to focus on remaining a key contributor on special teams in 2019.

Seahawks' Shalom Luani: Traded to Seattle
The Raiders traded Luani to the Seahawks on Saturday, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Between injuries and Earl Thomas' contract holdout, the Seahawks are looking awfully shaky at safety, even after Saturday's minor trade. Luani, a 2017 seventh-round pick, will be reunited with Seahawks defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr., who held the same role in Oakland last season. It's a nice opportunity to stick around on an NFL roster, but Luani probably won't have a big role in the Seattle defense.
