  • Bills' Alec Anderson: Taken to hospital with illness

    Anderson was transported to a local hostpital with heat related illness symptoms following the Bills' practice Tuesday, according to a report from the team's official site. Buffalo's official report also mentions that Anderson was still expected to be released from the hospital Tuesday afternoon, and he was "in good spirits" when on a phone call with general manager Brandon Beane and coach Sean McDermott. While it appears that the 25-year-old is doing well physically, it's still unclear if this issue will affect his practice availability moving forward.

  • Bills' Alec Anderson: Inks new contract with Buffalo

    Anderson (undisclosed) signed a reserve/future contract with the Bills on Monday, Chris Brown of the team's official site reports. Anderson was idle on the Bills' practice squad for the entire 2022 season. The undrafted rookie was then placed on the practice squad injured list with an undisclosed issue Thursday. While the nature of this injury was never revealed, Anderson will get another chance to make his way up to the 53-man roster before the 2023 campaign.
