Kane scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Panthers. This was Kane's sixth multi-point effort in his last nine games, a span in which he has six goals, nine assists and nine power-play points. The winger is up to 29 points, 84 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 39 appearances. Head coach Todd McLellan has the Red Wings' power play firing on all cylinders, and Kane's playmaking skills are likely to remain a big part of that.... See More ... See Less -

Kane has been on a tear of late, accumulating five goals and eight helpers during his ongoing seven-game point streak, with five multi-point performances over that span. The three-time Stanley Cup winner has been held off the scoresheet only once since Todd McLellan took over as head coach Dec. 27. The coaching change has injected life into the Wings, as their top players have played with purpose during a seven-game winning streak that began Dec. 29. Kane ranks fourth on the team in points with 10 goals and 17 assists through 37 appearances in 2024-25.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Patrick Kane: Distributes three assists
Kane notched three assists in Friday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks. Kane earned a helper in each period, including one on the power play, to lead the Red Wings past the team he was an icon with for the first 16 seasons of his career. He's been turning back the clock lately with four goals and seven assists during his active six-game point streak. The 36-year-old winger is up to 25 points (11 on the power play), 78 shots on net and a minus-5 rating over 36 appearances in a top-six role in 2024-25.... See More ... See Less -

Kane has four goals and four assists during his five-game point streak, with five of those points coming on the power play. The 36-year-old winger finished off Tuesday's contest 2:21 into overtime on a feed from Dylan Larkin. Kane is up to nine goals, 22 points (10 on the power play), 77 shots on net and a minus-6 rating over 35 appearances. His slow start to the year looks to be behind him, and given his hot streak, the window to buy low is closing quickly.... See More ... See Less -

Kane notched two assists, including one on the power play, and three shots on goal in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Jets. Kane has three multi-point efforts over his last four games. He logged just four such performances over his first 30 outings of the campaign. He's now at 21 points (nine on the power play), 73 shots on net and a minus-6 rating through 34 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Patrick Kane: Two-point effort in win
Kane scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Blue Jackets, The future Hall of Famer got the Red Wings on the board early in the first period by banging home a loose puck after Elvis Merzlikins couldn't corral a rebound. Kane has had trouble maintaining consistent production in 2024-25, but he's having his best stretch of the season with five goals and nine points over the last nine games.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Patrick Kane: Buries power-play goal
Kane scored a power-play goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Penguins. It's a small sample, but Kane has two power-play goals and an even-strength assist over the first three games of the Todd McLellan era. Prior to his goal Sunday versus the Capitals, he had gone 15 games without a power-play point -- unlocking more offense in that situation may be the key to turning Kane's season around. The 36-year-old winger has seven goals, 10 assists, seven power-play points, 66 shots on net and a minus-8 rating over 32 appearances. He doesn't add anything outside of offense, so he'll need to score at least somewhat consistently to help in fantasy.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Patrick Kane: Notches two points
Kane tallied a goal, an assist, a plus-2 rating and two shots during Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals. While Kane's power-play marker early in the first period was just his first point with the man advantage since Nov. 13, the three-time Stanley Cup champion has been heating up of late with three goals and six points in his last seven games. Kane's days as a dominant playmaking winger may be behind him, but the 36-year-old winger can still chip in enough here and there to be of use to fantasy managers.... See More ... See Less -

The helper was Kane's first point since Nov. 13, a span of nine appearances that also included a five-game absence due to an upper-body injury. Red Wings' Patrick Kane: Placed on injured reserve
Kane (upper body) was shifted to injured reserve by the Wings on Tuesday. Since Kane has already missed four games due to his upper-body injury, so this latest development is unlikely to impact his return to action. Instead, the extra roster spot allowed the team to bring up William Lagesson in a corresponding move Tuesday. Prior to getting hurt, the veteran Kane was struggling to score with just one goal in his last 13 outings while adding only four helpers during that stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Patrick Kane: Unavailable for Tuesday's game
Kane (upper body) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Bruins but could return Thursday against Ottawa. Kane will be unavailable for a fifth consecutive game due to his upper-body injury, but he's getting closer to returning. Head coach Derek Lalonde hopes Kane will be back in action on the road against the Senators on Thursday, but the team will likely continue to monitor him in the coming days. Kane has made 20 appearances this season, logging three goals, seven assists, eight hits and four blocked shots while averaging 17:21 of ice time.... See More ... See Less -

Kane was unavailable for Monday's game against the Islanders and will be sidelined for a second consecutive matchup Wednesday. However, he's still considered day-to-day, and head coach Derek Lalonde said Wednesday that Kane is getting closer to returning. The 36-year-old's next chance to return to game action will be Friday against the Devils.... See More ... See Less -
Red Wings' Patrick Kane: Ruled out against Isles
Kane is dealing with an upper-body injury that will keep him out of action versus the Islanders on Monday after head coach Derek Lalonde told reporters the forward would "need another day, probably day-to-day situation," per Jonathan Mills of the Red Wings' official site. Kane wasn't on the ice Sunday in what was deemed a maintenance day but it seems the winger is dealing with a slightly more serious issue. At this point, the veteran should probably be considered questionable to face the Flames on Wednesday. It's been a decent start to the 2024-25 campaign for Kane, as he has garnered 10 points, including five with the man advantage, in 20 outings.... See More ... See Less -
